Alan comes out of the bathroom babbling about taking Traci out on the town. What are you doing? he notices that she’s holding his phone.
Billy feels guilty for thinking Phyllis went rogue instead of giving her the benefit of the doubt. The room was full of gas – if we got there 5 minutes later, Phyllis and Sharon would have been dead, he tells Sally.
The cops are bagging up evidence; Chance hopes they find fingerprints that will get them one step closer to explaining the kidnappers connection to Phyllis and Sharon.
Eager to put the ordeal behind her, Sharon tells Nick that they even wondered if one of their kids kidnapped them to teach us a lesson. Who would want to force us to face our history??
In the club’s dining room, Phyllis is enjoying her burger and wine. Summer and Daniel want to hear everything – how did this happen!? Phyllis was minding her own business – next thing, she wakes up in an abandoned psychiatric clinic, with Sharon. It was an experiment – Sharon and I had to work together. The kidnapper is still out there, Summer points out.
Traci reads the odd alert on Alan’s phone – ‘Security breach at clinic. Precautions enacted’. It’s none of my business, I’m just trying to help. Without comment, Alan takes the phone from his puzzled fiancee’s hand.
The gas was rigged to go off if Sharon and Phyllis tried to escape, Billy adds that whoever did this is still out there. He hopes Chance catches them before they do this to someone else.
Coming across the gas valve, Chance calls out for a bag.
Phyllis feels safe – she has protection and Chance is on the case. Whoever did this won’t get away with it. I’ll find them, she vows. NO! Let the police take care of this – promise us, Daniel pleads. Phyllis explains that whoever kidnapped them gave them tests/riddles on their history. She drank poisoned water, and ‘if it weren’t for Sharon I wouldn’t be sitting here’, Phyllis chokes up.
