Three generations of Newman women mull it over at the ranch. Are they really capable of murder?
Victor’s still at Society; this time with a different son sitting across from him. Adam can’t believe that bastard Ian Ward is back. That they colluded back in the day is water under the bridge to Victor – he now needs his sons’ help getting rid of him.

Sharon continues to stab futilely at the lock and chains that bind her.
Victor wants Newman Media to launch a full-scale attack on Ian Ward – it’s absurd that he now claims to be a chaplain when he’s guilty of extortion, kidnapping and murder. The plan is to scare him from going out in public. Adam has no lingering allegiance to that maniac but slings and arrows from Newman Media won’t scare him away. That’s just the beginning – don’t you know your father by now? Leave it to me, Victor grimaces.
Cold blooded murder? a horrified Vikki reminds her Mom that she was the one who called the EMT’s who saved Jordan the last time. You think that you – we are capable of murder? Claire could feel her Aunt’s evil – anyone could be a target, not just the family. Like Seth, Nikki remembers her sponsor. While Vikki continues to be a hard-sell, Claire points out that only the three of them know Jordan’s not in prison. She and Nikki are willing to take the risk. Sorry Mom but you can’t talk me out of this.
Sharon’s last known moments are all on video, Mariah’s distraught to learn. Nick’s reassured that they didn’t kill her – she’s likely being held hostage. Ian has an alibi, he must have had an accomplice kidnap Sharon. The person’s vaguely familiar to Nick – if we find that person, we find Sharon.
Claire’s already started to lay the foundation with her Aunt. She won’t let her Mom stop her.
Ian’s psychotic – he tried to burn down Newman Towers – and kidnap Nikki – he shot you, Adam knows that If Ian’s in town, he has a plan – there’s no weaknesses to exploit. Victor disagrees – he has a massive ego. He’ll react out of pure arrogance – and when he does, Victor will crush him like a roach.
Adam regrets teaming up with Ian and remembers seeing his Dad being shot. I’ll always have your back – whatever you need. ‘You can count on me’, son and father fist bump. When are you and Connor moving to the ranch? It’s safer there – we can protect you.
Vikki doesn’t like it – what if Jordan catches on? Claire will tell her that she’s tricked the Newmans into thinking she wanted to be part of the family. Yes – she’ll believe me. I’ll lure her in – we’ll have her where we want her. Vikki hates Claire using herself as bait.
Nick ends a call to tell Mariah that Chance is in – he’ll have his team go over the list of prisons Ian’s visited recently – to see if there’s any new releases ring a bell. Ian will go away for killing Heather and kidnapping Sharon. This is good news. Breaking down, Mariah hopes Ian’s as innocent as he claims. If not, he’s here because of me, she cries. That guilt is unbearable. She hopes to God it’s not Ian. Nick hugs her.
