Lily, Abby and Devon are starting the new year off by having lunch together at Society. The newlyweds are thrilled to have Lily onboard at Winters – she’s already prepared a report as is ready to get to work. But, when Devon reports that Nate’s offered his half brother a job, Lily disapproves.
At the outdoor LA bistro, Nate’s disappointed that Damien hasn’t returned his call. Maybe he’s suspicious, Audra suggests.
Running into Chelsea at CL’s, Billy wants to overcome the awkwardness – we’re bound to run into one another and our sons (half-brothers) are spending a lot of time together.
Now seated together, Billy wastes little time telling Chelsea that he plans to take Chancellor back. The old man (Victor) deserves payback. I was wronged – severely, Billy gripes.
Devon’s supportive of Nate’s plan but Abby and Lily oppose this half brother joining the company. He disappeared on his own Mother – we don’t know anything about this guy – can we even trust him?
Over breakfast, Nate and Audra’s discussion about Damien is interrupted by a text – from Damien.
When Lily and Abby make their distrust clear, Devon thinks they’re jumping to conclusions too quickly. He’s open to getting to know their new cousin. Lily doesn’t want to be stabbed in the back again – like Nate did.
Damien wants to talk, Nate tells Audra. With another text he’s on his way. I’m about to meet my half brother, Nate’s excited and so is Audra. When Amy arrives, she’s ecstatic to hear that her son’s coming to meet Nate. OMG – hug.
No, Chelsea’s not part of Billy’s revenge plan – he’s focused on righting the wrong inflicted on him by his Mother and Victor. Chelsea has advice. Billy guesses it’s the same as everyone else’s – let it go. No, Chelsea’s advice will be harder to hear.
Amy can barely contain her excitement and gratitude towards Nate but can’t help but worry how Damien will react when he finds out she’s lied to him his entire life.
Lily will support Nate but he’s going about this the wrong way. Abby agrees. What if he’s an opportunist? He hasn’t been vetted. Devon knows Nate’s not being reckless – let’s see how it plays out. Nate deceived us, Lily mentions yet again.
