Jack and Diane come downstairs hand in hand to discuss Kyle’s reaction to their plan. What if he never forgives me? Diane frets.

Kyle’s summoned Claire to the club’s dining room; he stayed in a room upstairs last night; his relationship with his parents is now even worse.

When Nikki comes downstairs, Victor shocks her with the news of Sharon’s confession/arrest.

Elena stops in briefly but leaves Phyllis’ room when Chance comes to see Daniel. Why would Chris be here? Did something happen at Sharon’s last night?

On the patio, Nick asks Mike to represent Sharon.

Sharon confessed to everyone – she’ll be arraigned this morning, Jordan arrives at Ian’s seedy motel room to cackle.

Jack’s optimistic that Kyle will come around. Diane worries their plan will backfire – that he’ll tell Victor before he signs Glacade over. The next part of the plan is to give the company to Kyle. For now, they must keep up their act; Diane will sneak out the back (she has a meeting with Victor)

Victor explains that Sharon got into an argument with Heather, killed her and framed Daniel. Poor Faith, poor Nick.

On the patio, Nick tells Mike that Sharon waved her rights and confessed to Chance. The arraignment? This morning. Sharon’s not listening to anyone – Nick hopes she’ll listen to Mike.

At Society, Mariah and Tessa are absorbing the news; Sharon must be going through a mental breakdown – she wouldn’t do this in her right mind. There has to be more, Mariah weeps.

Chris is caught off-guard by the sight of an unconscious Phyllis. Chance tells her and Daniel that the charges against him have been dropped.

No, Claire isn’t defending Jack and Diane but thinks their hearts were in the right place. Does being angry all the time help? she asks him to let it go before it eats him alive.

Adding that Phyllis is in critical condition, Victor’s sorry they won’t be crowing Nikki as Chancellor’s CEO.

Daniel doesn’t need Chance to confirm what his Mother was right about all along. Hear that? You were right, Mom, he leans over her to say.
