At Society, Summer and Chance agree it’s good that Lucy’s not here. You saw the toll this is taking on Daniel but still think he’s guilty ¬sad face¬ Chance did what he had to do – is this something we can get past?
Knock. Knock. Diane expects Victor but it’s Nikki who barges into her suite. I know what you’re trying to do and I’ll be damned if I let you do it!
Quickly detecting that Victor hasn’t summoned him to discuss business, Kyle has no news on his parents – he’s been too busy with Glacade. Victor wants to slow things down.
Summer hopes they can get through this but hates that Chance had to be the one to arrest her brother. The evidence against Daniel is damning, Chance mostly took the case because of Summer.
Kyle’s frustrated that Victor wants to pump the brakes on Glacade. Does this have to do with his cryptic comment that he (Victor) now has the answers he was looking for? Victor suggests Kyle go to his mother for answers – she’s out for blood.
Nikki’s not there to argue with Diane – I’ll talk, you listen. Nikki’s grateful that Jack sees her for who she is and won’t let Diane use Victor to punish Jack. You can’t root for both of them forever, it’s time to choose a side, Diane claims.
Chance is trying to cut Daniel as much slack as he can – he’s just following orders and took an oath to uphold the law. He hopes Summer will take that into account when deciding whether they can continue to date.
Nikki’s sure Jack and Victor will find common ground one day – just as they have before. After the way Jack’s treated her, Diane will happily watch Victor grind ‘poor’ Jack into dust. I’M the one with no home or job! Nikki warns Diane to back off – you’re no match for me.
Your Mother wants to destroy your father and undermine you, Victor also tells Kyle that Diane wants him to fail at Glacade and is threatening to sue over him stealing Jabot’s product. Kyle doesn’t get why she wouldn’t want Glacade to beat Jabot. If anyone’s been betrayed, it’s me and my father (wording that doesn’t escape Victor) When Nikki arrives, Diane follows her across the dining room. What the hell are you up to now!? Kyle glares at his mother.
