Summer joins her Mom at the club to put a large portrait of Heather on display. Babe, I’m OK, Phyllis reassures – she’s realised that she can only count on herself to get things done.
We’re all here for you – your father sends his love, Chris is with Daniel on the patio. He explains that they’ll have a celebration of life for Heather when Danny and Lucy come home. Chris vows to fight like hell to prove his innocence. Daniel wants more than that – he wants justice.
Chris will see to it that Daniel gets justice for Heather. The more she thinks about it, the more she’s what Phyllis was talking about. Really, Daniel watches Nick and Sharon arrive at CL’s.
Summer believes her Mom’s pointing the finger at Sharon because she’s always hated her. Trust me, Phyllis implores – while Chris is preparing for a trial, she’s working to prevent one.
Chris isn’t saying that Sharon’s guilty – she just needs to raise reasonable doubt. Sharon attacked you three publicly and is in a fragile mental state. She was the last person to see Heather alive.
Faith thinks Lucy should be here to say goodbye to her Mom – what do you think? No, Sharon’s not OK – she wishes she didn’t have to go to Heather’s service.
Ending a call with Lucy, Phyllis tells Summer that Heather’s favourite flower was the Texas Bluebell. Off to the florist to have a boutonnière made for Daniel, Summer tries once again to reign her mother in. Your plan for Sharon can wait til tomorrow – or never.
Sharon wishes Lucy still had her Mom – it’s so sad. Nick doesn’t think she should go to the funeral – for all sorts of reasons. Sharon must go – maybe this will help her let go of her grief over Cassie.
Summer returns with the boutonnière for Daniel – how will we say good bye to Heather? she asks her Mom. We love Daniel and Lucy, and Phyllis will start making peanut butter and banana pancakes.
Still on the patio, Chris suggests Daniel focus on getting through today’s funeral. Too bad Paul isn’t well enough to be here. Both tearing up, Chris holds Daniel’s hand across the table – we’re all here for you.
Proceeding inside, Daniel ignores Nick’s condolences to make a beeline to Sharon – don’t take this the wrong way but I strongly suggest you don’t come to Heather’s funeral.
