Sitting at CL’s, Diane and Jack both work on their laptops. Love is not in the air.

On the patio with her parents, Claire watches the Abbott’s – they’ve barely spoken to each other. She’s so sad for them, and Kyle.

In the jazz lounge, Kyle’s all full of himself – the press roll-out on Glacade’s new product is a success – pre-orders are through the roof. Victor warns that things might get ‘sticky’ (with his parents) due to the way they acquired this new product. They won’t let this go.

Jack finally breaks the silence – he’s pissed about Glacade stealing Jabot’s product, but astounded when Diane snaps that he should be pressing charges against Kyle for corporate theft.

Chance joins Summer at Society – after the search things don’t look too good for your brother.

Daniel’s summoned his Mother to the park. Lucy’s in a suite at the club. Their apartment is a forensic crime scene. None of this makes sense to him.

Cole hopes Jack and Diane haven’t come to Claire with their problems. Not really – she’s offered to help Jack. Cole and Vikki urge her to stay out of it – the Abbott’s issues run deep.

Jack and Diane argue. He’s spoken to the lawyers – they want proof (and he’s not convinced Kyle stole their product) Face it – your relationship with Kyle is over; he wants nothing to do with us, Diane’s furious that Jack’s not taking action.

Chance can’t get into details but he found evidence that points to Daniel. Could Lucy have planted something incriminating? he asks Summer. No – is my brother a suspect???? Chance won’t say that – if Summer wants answers she has to go to Daniel.

Heather’s phone and some bloody towels were found in the apartment. Someone obviously planted it – but who? Phyllis is sure Heather wasn’t having an affair. Daniel adds that the passcode on Heather’s phone was changed and there was an unsent message to Paul.

Laptops now closed, Jack and Diane argue loudly about Kyle. He needs to pay for what he’s done! she suddenly leaves to get some air when Jack mentions Diane firing Kyle. Noticing his audience of three on the patio, Jack packs up and exits hastily.

Funny that you bring up grandpa – he plays a role in all this, Claire says. What role? What has he done now? Vikki pounces.

Kyle’s confident not cocky – he just wants to reassure Victor that he made the right choice in keeping him as Glacade’s CEO. Victor will cover any fallout but warns – your parents won’t take this lying down.

Daniel tells his Mom that Sharon told Chance about seeing Heather the night she died. Phyllis doesn’t trust her.

Diane accosts Kyle at the club’s bar. Congrats on Glacade’s new product – it must have taken years to develop. Kyle has nothing to be ashamed of. That makes Diane sad and mad – I don’t recognise you anymore. Unapologetic, Kyle tells his Mother to stay away from him, then nonchalantly orders another shot of tequila.
