Waiting for Billy and the kids at Society, Vikki passes the time by chatting on the phone with Nick. They’re here – thanks for listening. As Nick hangs up, Phyllis comes onto the patio in a stupor – Heather’s dead.

It’s about Mom, isn’t it? Did I do something else to make her mad? Lucy frets – then sobs in her Dad’s arms after he delivers the bad news.

Happily puttering around her house, Sharon tells Cameron that she doesn’t need him anymore. Her mood shifts to panic when a breaking news alert announces that a body’s been retrieved from the river. Dear God – did they find Heather?!

Joining Victor in the jazz lounge, Lily assumes correctly that he tanked the Odyssey deal. She’s eager for everyone to return to their rightful place – Billy out, her back in control of Chancellor.

Back on the patio, Phyllis tells Nick what little she knows – Heather sent Daniel a text saying that she needed time alone. He’s a single parent now. Nick encourages Phyllis to step in, we all will ~hug~

Lucy’s in denial – maybe it’s someone who looks like Mom. No, Daniel saw her body. I need to see for myself, Lucy grabs her purse – I want to tell her I’m sorry for being a brat. Daniel wishes there was something he could say to make it easier – you’re not alone ~hug~

You promised me I could pull this off! You lied to me! What am I supposed to do now!? Sharon shrieks. Stay calm – orange isn’t your colour, Cameron quips.

Victor tells Lily to be patient. It won’t be easy to dislodge Billy now that he knows outside forces are coming after him.

All seated at Society, Billy tells the kids that he and Chelsea broke up because he needs to focus on Abbott Chancellor. Both he and Vikki are thrilled that the kids have decided to transfer to Walnut Grove. They then explain that their companies are rivals. Your grandfather’s trying to spoil my success (but Billy has no intention of letting him win)

It’s only a matter of time; they’re coming for me! Sharon’s already paranoid. They believe Heather drowned accidentally, Cameron again speaks of closure. No! Sharon’s already caused enough pain. This is the only option you have, he coerces.

Lucy shares her many regrets; causing so much trouble, not telling her Mom she loves her – throwing a fit when Heather wanted to go back to Portugal. No, Daniel hasn’t told Paul – how do you tell a man that his daughter’s gone?

This is killing me, Phyllis agonises. Being there for your family is what you do best, Nick encourages her to listen and help them through this tragedy. When Sharon arrives at CL’s, she’s not happy to see Phyllis and Nick on the patio, holding hands across the table.

Katie can’t imagine her ‘sweet’ grandpa being ‘out to get’ anyone, especially her Dad. After providing a brief history of Chancellor, Vikki defends her father wanting to buy it back – that’s what business people do. It’s not for sale Billy points out; he thinks Johnny raises a good point – how many companies does one man need?

Continuing to stall the impatient Lily, Victor cites Vikki’s concern for her kids – she was even willing to buy him out (which may have tipped Billy off) Lily has an idea – we plant a spy in Chancellor.

Getting a text from Daniel, Phyllis needs to go be with him. You’ll be fine, Nick declares her a fierce woman. Inside, Cameron reminds Sharon that those two fall into bed at the slightest sign of crisis. I won’t do it – I won’t, Sharon bellows. Nick comes in to ask if she’s OK.
