Mariah and Nick join Faith at Society. They’re sorry they weren’t able to stick around last night – how did it go with Sharon? After Faith went to bed last night, her Mom packed a bag and left for a Cassidy First meeting in Madison. Faith feels guilty – I choked – I told her (via text) that she didn’t need to come back.
In a seedy motel room (on the ‘wrong side’ of GC) Sharon argues with Cameron. He wonders what will happen when her family fact-checks her lie.
Lily approaches Nate and Devon at CL’s. She isn’t taking Billy to court – she has a plan she’s confident will work. Billy sounded confident too, Devon doesn’t want his sister to underestimate him.
Phyllis reports that Odyssey 7’s CEO said he wanted to look over the contract. Billy’s sure Victor’s sabotaging the deal – he’s Lily’s secret weapon.
Lily’s not as smart as she thinks she is, Phyllis reminds that Victor warned her to bail on Chancellor. Perhaps he’s manipulating her. Billy will meet Lily to see if she slips up.
Politely declining the offer to join Winters, Lily’s plan is already in place. What exactly are you going to do? Devon asks. She gets a text from Billy – see? her plan is already working – he’s feeling the heat.
Mariah gets a text from Sharon – she’s taking the meeting herself because the man wanted to speak to her directly. Maybe she’s not in trouble, Faith hopes – but knows her Dad and sister disagree.
It doesn’t sit right with Nick and Mariah that Sharon left in the middle of the night. There’s only one way to find out.
Cameron continues to browbeat Sharon. He suspects she ‘did not do the best she could’. Her phone rings; it’s Mariah.
Billy gets a text from Lily – unless she’s reinstated as Chancellor’s CEO, there’s nothing to talk about. He calls her to say that he knows what she’s up to; ‘you’re making a mistake’.
Billy’s worried about what Lily’s getting herself into; he’s trying to throw her a lifeline. She doesn’t have time for this – bye ~click~ Dammit, Billy mutters to Phyllis.
Back at CL’s, Lily assures Devon and Nate that she has everything under control; then is annoyed that they seem sceptical.
Leaving a message for Sharon, Mariah considers going to Madison. Asked his opinion, Nick responds – how soon can you leave?
