At Society, Jack hopes Diane’s gotten it out of her system (that she’s solely responsible for the way Kyle’s behaving)
Audra and Kyle are bickering over business when Claire arrives at CL’s when Claire arrive. Both she and her boss light up.
Chelsea approaches Billy at the club. He confides that he fired Lily and Chance quit – everything’s on me. Chelsea would like to talk.
At Newman, Lily thanks Victor for making time for her. Yes, she has new info and once she shares it she’s sure Victor will agree that now is the time to make a move against Billy.
When Claire comes over to say hello, Audra leaves them to ‘have fun’ – she’s off to meet their investor. She doesn’t like me either, Kyle reassures Claire. After the obligatory adorable-Harrison story, he has news to share.
Billy’s been preoccupied with Chancellor. Updating that she told Connor that they’re on a break, Chelsea’s in tears when suspecting that Billy’s decided the break is permanent.
Lily tells Victor that Chance gave Billy an ultimatum – and has left Chancellor. We have to move before he finalises this big deal. She won’t tell him the name of the company he’s acquiring until Victor confirms that he’ll reinstate her as Chancellor’s CEO. You have a deal, he agrees. Lily tells him the company is Odyssey 7. Vikki seems surprised to see her there.
When Vikki expresses second thoughts over Billy, Lily promises she’s not acting out of anger – she believes they’ll be saving Billy from the guilt of destroying his Mother/Katherine’s company. It’s as if Neil is here, Victor strokes Lily’s ego and plucks at her heartstrings.
Jack encourages Diane – where there’s love there’s hope. She hates feeling that her happiness has come at Kyle’s expense.
Kyle invites Claire to take a walk. She’d like that.
Billy implies that he’d be able to get over Chelsea cheating – if it weren’t with Adam. Wishing he could get over it, Billy’s decided to focus on work – you need to be there for your son. Chelsea holds the hand of the kindest man she’s ever known – one more time *sniff*
