What’s going on? Nick asks Phyllis as he walks into CL’s. He can tell she’s upset.
Wow – you look spectacular – you outdid yourself, Chance admires Summer in the jazz lounge. She wanted to look especially nice for him ~kiss~
Hello son, Jack stops at the club’s bar. Kyle wants him to keep going.
At Society, Heather tells Daniel that something’s going on with Lucy – she’s been distant and moody since the concert.
Who were you talking to? Faith interrogates her Mom. Seeing that the sofa’s cluttered, she knows Sharon’s lying about talking in her sleep.
Phyllis admits that she’s worried about Summer. Nick agrees that Kyle’s ‘gone off the rails’ – where the hell did this come from? Phyllis blames Diane; Kyle’s changed and so has Jack.
Jack wants to have a drink with Kyle (who prefers to drink alone – in peace) He also doesn’t like his Dad using Harrison as bait. Jack wants to talk, really talk – about mending their relationship.
Summer raises a glass to the wise Chance – thanks to his advice, she and Kyle had a civil conversation. You’re brilliant, beautiful – the universe wants good things for you, Chance believes. Listing everything that’s happened to her this year, Summer thinks the universe has a funny way of showing it.
There’s no way you slept on this couch, Faith offers to call Nick and/or Mariah. Sharon admits that she lied. She’s not only seeing Cassie, she’s seeing Cameron too.
Phyllis gripes about Diane ‘waltzing’ back into town claiming she wanted to earn Kyle and Jack’s trust. She married Jack and fired Kyle. Jack seems to be happy, Nick plays devil’s advocate. Phyllis believes Kyle’s being pushed to the edge because he sees Diane for who she is – the person who ruined his life – and he’s taking it out on Summer.
Summer muses – what’s the secret to a happy marriage? Her parents couldn’t figure it out – her grandparents have been off and on. Maybe ‘happily ever after’ isn’t possible. Chance isn’t ready to give up yet. Summer feels lucky that the universe brought her Chance.
Hear me out – Kyle talks about how proud he was of the Abbott family – he wanted to be just like the father he’s always loved and admired. She (Diane) covets a role, she gets it – she decides to fire me – it’s done. You’re all about Mom, Kyle rants. You don’t respect me – I’m a pawn. Jack DOES respect Kyle – your success and happiness is all I want. Kyle was told to learn about consequences – that goes both ways – you have a son who doesn’t trust you anymore.
Sharon clarifies – she’s seeing Cameron in her nightmares. Faith’s worried about her. I hate this. Thinking it might be her new meds, Sharon will call the doctor in the morning. Now, go out with your friends. Faith gets a text from Lucy – ‘I’m in trouble, can you help me?’
