Faith talks to her Mom about Lucy – she’s a nice enough kid but seems a bit lonely and desperate. Also, she’s Daniel’s kid and close to Cassie’s age when she died.

In the club’s dining room with her parents, Lucy tells Heather that Faith practically begged her to go to the concert. Pulling out her phone, Heather’s getting two more wristbands – we’ll all go together.

Harrison’s having fun with his Mom and Phyllis (who tells him not to be afraid to tell anyone that he loves his Mom, not a teacher, a nanny, judges – don’t be afraid to tell them) When Kyle calls Summer, Phyllis hits the ignore button.

Diane comes home babbling about work when she notices all the flowers. Jack’s waiting with a bottle of bubbly and all her favourites – happy anniversary.

Jack and Diane have the house to themselves – Traci’s in LA, with Alan. There’ll be no talk about Kyle and Glacade tonight. This has been the best year of their lives. Putting music on with a remote, Jack sweeps Diane into his arms for a dance.

Faith thinks it’s awkward hanging out with someone so much younger. Sharon senses there’s more to this. Lucy’s clingy and obsessed with me, Faith admits.

Daniel’s OK with Lucy going to the concert with Faith. Heather’s not. Don’t rob me of this one chance to make a friend, Lucy implores.

After sending Harrison to the jukebox, Summer scolds her Mom for declining Kyle’s call. Phyllis warns that every move she makes will be scrutinized once they go to court.

Sharon asks Faith to cut Lucy some slack. It’s OK to let her know that you’re uncomfortable with the age difference. Go – try to have fun, feel good about making an awkward young lady feel accepted. OK – but Faith hopes Lucy gets the hint.
