At work, Billy’s annoyed by Chance’s lack of enthusiasm over his new logo. Lily signed off on it – it’s a win. A win for who exactly? Chance asks.

On the patio, Devon’s a ‘broken record’ as he repeatedly warns Lily to leave Chancellor now – before Billy completely tanks it.

Meeting Daniel at Society, Summer refuses to be patronized. Please stay, Daniel promises no lectures or unsolicited advice. I’m always on your side. I love you. How can I help?

Nick? Sharon comes out of her daze as she answers the door. Uh, yes, she remembers Mariah and Faith calling him. Where were you earlier? Nick begins the interrogation – Were you alone? Sharon can’t very well say ‘no, I was with you, making out’.

Sharon wasn’t exactly alone – she’s been reminiscing a lot lately. Thanks for caring about me. We all do, Nick gives the girls a turn. Mariah mentions Sharon missing appointments and she’s not the ‘neat freak’ Faith grew up with. What was I saying? Sharon loses her train of thought mid-denial then apologizes for scaring them all.

Summer needs a house as quickly as possible. Harrison needs his own bedroom. Daniel agrees to help – how’s the custody thing going? Good – Summer really thinks she can win this.

Chance has to ask if Billy and Lily will be working together for the good of the company or trying to score ‘wins’ against each other? Billy meant that it’s a win for Abbott Chancellor as a whole. Lily’s fully onboard – Billy has to wonder if Chance is.

If Billy screws up and Chancellor becomes vulnerable, someone could swoop in and pick up the pieces, Devon warns. Yes, someone’s coming after you. Tucker? Lily guesses.

On the patio, Devon relays Victor’s warning. Lily claims that she’s been playing Billy all along. She’s staying at Chancellor to protect it from him. Devon seems skeptical.

Daniel’s surprised to hear that Summer’s going for sole custody (which she seems very excited about) She didn’t fight it before because Harrison was surrounded by family/stability (which is no longer the case) Summer will fight for the future she and Harrison deserve. You just can’t let me have hope, she scowls at Daniel.

Confiding that she’s been seeing and speaking to Cassie, Sharon won’t let the girls blame themselves; it wasn’t Faith’s questions or Mariah being a painful reminder. As a therapist, Sharon must ask ‘did going off my meds cause me to start obsessing about Cassie or did I go off my meds so that she could feel closer to her’?

Devon doesn’t love that Lily’s not joining him at Winters but feels a helluva lot better knowing she has a plan and doesn’t see Billy as a business-genius. Lily still thinks something’s ‘off’ about Victor’s warning. He wouldn’t deliberately hurt her (as Neil’s kid) – but – if she ignored his warning, she’d be fair game. Devon continues – Victor knows I’ll tell you and that you’ll tell Billy. Maybe he’s pressuring Billy to screw up. Lily will stick to her plan – keep Billy close. Victor thinks he’s five steps ahead of her but she’s a step ahead of him. Devon’s left to worry.
