In the park, Summer’s stunned to hear that Chris plans to prosecute her if their Mom doesn’t plead guilty. She’s very serious, Daniel assures.
Tucker is in Audra’s suite to blast her for the singer incident. You’re either incompetent or deliberately trying to screw him over.
Tucker asked her to clean up that mess. He fired the PR team and told Audra to take care of the rest. Adam found an email (which Tucker recites) You better fix this!
Adam referees Sharon and Phyllis by scolding both. Our media powerhouse will be run by a team of angels. Sharon thinks that’s pushing it.
Daniel and Summer are both frustrated. If Mom really wants to change, she’d take Chris’ deal to protect you. Summer won’t let that happen – back off.

Tessa and Mariah are at CL’s to announce that they found a perfect babysitter – so Mariah can go work at the new company with Sharon.
Finding Tucker in her suite, Phyllis lords it over Tucker. He’s impressed – I didn’t see it coming. He didn’t know about the rapey singer. Phyllis wants to know why he’s really there.
Tucker has an offer for Phyllis. After he gets proof that Adam’s deleted the email and will drop it, he’ll tell her where Carson is. But – he’s not paying him off. Opening the door, Summer wonders what Tucker’s doing there.
Daniel tells Heather that Chris will drop the charges if his Mom pleads guilty – she should take the deal. Yes, Summer knows about the offer but she’s been brainwashed. It’s Heather’s job to protect her client. Even if Summer is charged. Leave this one alone, Heather insists.
After some talk about the ‘quirky’ partnerships in the new company, Mariah changes the subject to her Mom’s new relationship. There might be something there, Sharon agrees.
Wasting no time, Audra’s in Adam’s suite wanting to make a deal that is in his best interest as much as it is her and Tucker’s.
After Tucker makes a quick escape, Summer asks if he’s pressuring her Mom. Daniel told me about the deal Chris offered. Don’t do it – that’s what Chris is counting on.
At Society, Heather and Chris go back and forth about Phyllis. Do you really want to see Summer on the stand? You’re starting to sound as desperate as Phyllis, Chris remarks.
Now downstairs in the bar, Tucker tells Vikki and Nate that Adam’s coming after Newman Media. Is Audra up to the task?
Audra did what she needed to in order to protect the business. You and Tucker have the most to lose – and that’s why Adam’s offering a deal.

Upstairs, Summer doesn’t need her Mom’s protection – what she needs is the truth. Carson’s return is too convenient – and there’s Tucker. No more lies, she wants to hear everything.
Things continue to go downhill between Chris and Heather (who reacts to being ‘manipulated’ by saying she’s going to ask the Judge to have Chris removed from the case due to prosecutorial misconduct (as she clearly has a grudge against Phyllis)
