At the penthouse, Devon and Abby chat about Tucker’s 100% attendance rate at Dom’s music classes. Wondering if he’s being sincere and trustworthy, they decide it’s time to put Devon’s plan into action.
Cheers to us, Ashley and Tucker clink their wine glasses at the GCAC’s bar. Oh look, they’re invited to join Abby and Devon for dinner. Ashley’s concerned about their reaction to them being engaged.
Diane thinks promoting her will send a message to Ashley and Tucker. Jabot’s chief talent officer is set to retire soon; HR hasn’t filled the position yet. Jack can’t think of anyone better at reading people. Yes, he can make this happen ~hug~
Summer thanks Daniel for meeting her in the park. Did Kyle turn Mom in? he asks and is sorry to hear how bad things have gotten between the couple. Mom and I did the only thing we could, Summer tells him.
Hotel security’s going to pull their camera footage, Chance returns to the suite to ask if Kyle has something to say about his wife. Summer’s known where Phyllis has been for weeks, Kyle’s sure she helped her Mom escape.
Tucker and Ashley reply – they’d be delighted to join Devon and Abby for dinner. No, it’s not fair to put Abby in the middle, but as an Abbott and Newman, she’s used to straddling the fence.
Abby’s going along to be Devon’s extra set of eyes – to figure out if Tucker’s up to anything.
Summer updates Daniel that their Mom offered to turn herself in. I told her no – she needs more time to clear her name. Chance marches over to demand Summer tell him where Phyllis is – no more games.
Nick apologizes for snapping at his Mom – he’s just frustrated. She wishes he’d let the cops and security handle Cameron. He’ll try to do major damage to you, she (fore)warns.
Meanwhile, Cameron makes a call to the GCPD – he’d like to report an assault.
The two couples sit at a table to order drinks, Ashley and Tucker waste no time sharing their great news – we’re getting married. It’s real and happening soon, Tucker adds. Abby and Devon are stunned and suspicious.
Kyle comes home to ask where Summer is. He wishes he didn’t have to tell his parents this but can’t keep it to himself any longer.
When Summer insists Daniel leave her to speak to Chance, he asks the cop to give his sister a break. Again blaming her Mom’s actions on Stark, Summer doesn’t regret helping her. Chance reminds that their relationship was built on trust. Now, you don’t trust me and I sure as hell don’t trust you.
