At Newman, Nikki asks Adam if he knows whether Victor and Vikki are on their way back from the airport yet. He didn’t know the ‘big homecoming’ was set to take place at the office, and that says a lot. Vikki’s coming home to roost, he broods.
On the CL’s patio, a concerned Billy leaves a message for Vikki. Your family’s keeping a secret – call or text to let me know you’re OK.
Vikki and her luggage are in a suite at TGP. Nick’s let in to express how happy he was to get her message. What’s the big mystery? Without a word, Vikki gives her perplexed brother a big hug.
Elena’s surprised that Nate’s come home to present her with a single rose – ‘aloha’. Yanking his tie loose, he leads her upstairs for a more ‘meaningful’ goodbye.
Devon and Chance ‘run’ into each other at the park. Race ya! they sprint off like a couple of school kids.
At Society, Imani’s just come back from visiting her Mom. Both she and Amanda appreciate Lily graciously offering them more time off if need be. Joining them, Abby’s thanked for stepping in to host their launch party. She gave up on opening a hotel across from TGP (because of Phyllis) but Lily’s considering doing it herself.
After some rolling around in bed, joined at the lips ‘n hips, Nate traces the rose up the length of Elena’s body – aloha, baby ~kiss~
Even Amanda has to admit that Phyllis tends to ‘take things to the extreme’. Lily thinks there should be another hotel in town. Since Devon sold the GCAC, they’ll need to put visiting ‘talent’ somewhere. Maybe I can build a grander Phoenix, she grins.
Nikki doesn’t know anything about Vikki’s plans; not even whether she’s home for good. Having spoken to the pilot, Adam learned there’s no return flight booked. He’s also surprised to hear that Victor blocked her and Ashland’s business plans. Is there anything Dad didn’t do to pave the way for Vikki’s glorious return??? he fumes.
Vikki explains that she’s staying at TGP while her house is being deep cleaned to remove any remnants of Ashland. Her flight came in early so she didn’t see Dad at the airport. No, Vikki’s not mad that Nick betrayed her confidence; she wants to thank him.
Back in NY, Ashland relives being dumped by his ruthless ex-wife. Grrr.
Run over, Devon’s gasping for air while Chance is barely breathing hard. He’s impressed with the way Chance sorted himself out and sorry for making it harder with the way he handled things. Chance understands – we all just want what’s best for Dominic.
Lily’s goal is for Chancellor Winters to open up a posh new hotel. Then we won’t have to deal with Phyllis. Amanda likes the idea – but no, there’s no way Phyllis will sell TGP. That’s fine, Lily has no problem going head to head with her.
