Phyllis accuses Sally of judging her. You hate that I’m working so closely with your boyfriend – you see me as a threat. You whisper in his ear – sabotaging this for me and my son. Sally has nothing to do with this, Billy interjects. Then why is she here?
If you’ve never been in love before, how do you know it’s the real thing? Tears in her eyes, Claire lists the many ways she knows. Kyle can’t say it as eloquently – but I do love you ~hug~
Kyle didn’t feel pressured to say he loves Claire (who has to shut him up with a kiss) She’s confident she can change Victor’s mind about Kyle.
You’re this close to crossing the line, Billy warns. Sally’s sorry for everything Phyllis and her son have been through. I’m sure you are, Phyllis then starts shouting about what she’s just been through. My son’s in crisis! Billy repeats his question. I’m in – Phyllis still wants Billy’s help with Daniel.
Tessa keeps the harmonica as a reminder of how she pulled herself out of a slump. Daniel doesn’t think it’s silly – maybe he should learn how to play this thing. Putting her harmonica away, Tessa suggests Daniel go in a different/unexpected direction. He has an idea but needs Tessa’s help.
Billy’s happy to hear that Phyllis is still committed to Abbott Communications. He’s maybe open to bringing Daniel onboard at some point. Selling herself as the most dedicated worker, Phyllis leaves saying ‘give me a call when you’re ready to go to work’. You’re way too nice for your own good, Sally’s left to scold Billy.
Seeing the way her grandfather looks at her grandmother, Claire’s sure she can get Victor to understand how she’s feeling – there’s nothing he can do to keep us apart. She’s up for the challenge.
Tessa’s also up for a challenge. Phyllis appears to ask for a private word with Daniel (and is again denied) He just wants to figure out things on his own – with Tessa’s help. Let’s not do this, he asks his Mom for some space.
Phyllis and Daniel have been through a lot, Billy has sympathy for them. He is sorry that she took her frustration out on Sally. She won’t offer any unsolicited advice. Billy wants her opinion. OK – Phyllis is a loose cannon. You should cut her loose.
You can get in touch with me day or night, Phyllis hugs Daniel and leaves him to decide to change his life – and maybe come out better on the other side. What can Tessa do to help? Promise not to laugh (they both laugh)
Claire’s always been a fighter and will fight for the people she loves. She and Kyle toss out a few more L-words and do some more kissing.
