Still at Society, Abby thinks Lily’s plan might work – you’re not giving her enough credit – she’s been burned before so won’t let her guard down. Devon worries she already has.
Running into Amy at CL’s, Lily’s happy that Amy felt well enough to go to dinner with Traci (who she’s sorry got her heart broken) Hearing that Lily went out for dinner with Damian, Amy assumes she spent the evening grilling him.
Audra would like to dance some more but Nate wants to go home and see how Amy’s doing. Things get awkward when Audra’s phone rings; Victor’s name coming up on the display.
Kyle drops by his Dad’s suite with a bottle to celebrate their great day. Where’s Mom?
Oh look – just the person Diane was hoping to run into (at the club’s bar) Are you helping Victor come after Jabot? she bluntly asks Mike.
Damian’s too smooth – he’s trying to get closer to Lily, Devon worries. She sees that and is using it to her advantage, Abby points out. Devon hopes Damian’s legit, for Nate and Amy’s sake – but he’s not ready to embrace him just yet and neither should Lily.
Why would you assume I’d grill your son? Lily’s sorry to hear that Amy overhead her arguing with Damian (at Nate’s) Amy doesn’t blame Lily for having doubts but please give him the benefit of the doubt. For Amy and Nate’s sake, Lily hopes he’s a good person; she’d love to be wrong.
Whoa – why would you jump to that conclusion? Mike’s not Victor’s hatchet man; his desire for revenge is all on him. Diane wouldn’t put it past Mike to use that hatchet at Victor’s command.
Victor’s calling Audra with good news – he’s made inroads regarding the cosmetics company they were discussing and is sure she’ll be very happy IF she can ensure the end to Kyle and Claire’s relationship.
Off to visit her Dad, Abby encourages Devon to admit that he was right about Lily belonging at Winters. Devon agrees the outcome was best for everyone, but doesn’t approve of the way Victor went about it.
Your Mother’s at the house getting ready for the big reveal, Jack told her how proud he was of him today. There’s two more Glacade execs at Jabot, Kyle worries they could be spies too.
Diane’s not laughing at Mike’s jokes because them going after Jabot is no laughing matter. Citing attorney/client privilege, Mike again wonders why she’d even think that.
Amy assures Lily that her eyes are wide open to Damian and his contradictions and she doesn’t know whether Damian looked into her family before Nate reached out to him. What she does know is that he’s a good man, with a good heart.
Appreciating Amy’s honesty and desire to believe in her son, Lily confides that she’s a cancer survivor. Amy can’t rule it out that Damian has an ulterior motive – who knows how he’s connected to this mysterious billionaire. She doesn’t dare question him about it for fear of undoing their progress and pushing him away again. That’s the last thing Lily wants too.
