Over drinks at Society, Claire asks Kyle for details on what he and Jack were working on. When he’s ‘evasive’, she suspects it has to do with her grandfather.
Right on time, Victor greets Audra in the jazz lounge. I never actually agreed to this meeting, she says. Yet, here you are, Victor’s already ordered her favourite – a ordered her favourite, a Cadillac Margarita.
At home, Sharon’s about to drink from a water bottle when a flashback hits her. She’s delighted when Nick drops by – and ecstatic that he’s decided to come along (they’ll all go on the private jet)
Running into Summer as she arrives at the club, Phyllis tells her that she’s meeting Chance at Sharon’s. He has information about the kidnapper she hopes will lead to an arrest. Until then, she’ll keep looking over her shoulder waiting for ‘the next time.’
It pisses me off, Phyllis admits to having nightmares and voices in her head. The kidnapper could be here, in this restaurant, she scans the room. Phyllis is given some peace knowing that Sharon feel the same way she does.
Audra wants to hear what Victor has in mind for her. Do you still hold a grudge against Kyle for stabbing you in the back? he asks.

You were brazen, almost gloating when needling my grandfather, Claire persists. You have to set boundaries, Kyle worries – Victor’s done this before, to your own mother. He refuses to let their relationship fail because of the feud between his Dad and her grandfather. Claire puts her foot down – they’re not leaving this table until she gets a ‘real’ answer.
Christian’s staying with Vikki for a few days; Nick’s only going to London for a few days. Any word from Chance? He’s coming over, Sharon then lets Phyllis in – and wastes no time rubbing it in her face that they’re all going to London on the private jet. Isn’t that great???
Audra’s stunned by Victor’s selective amnesia. You’re the one who fired me, remember? You should thank me for getting you off that sinking ship, Victor growls. Audra feels she could have turned it around. Kyle stabbed you in the back – have you ever considered getting even with him.? Victor asks. S I do – what do I get for that? Audra asks. Let’s make a deal, Victor answers.
Kyle tells Claire that a Jabot employee has been acting suspiciously. Suspecting corporate espionage, he wanted to fire them, but his Dad wants to find out who they’re working for. It has nothing to do with Victor, Kyle promises to stop needling Victor if Claire stops jumping to conclusions. Deal? Deal. Now it’s off to the jazz lounge for a drink.
