Alan’s promised me the wedding of my dreams, Traci assures. Diane peppers her with questions – you don’t want to get married at the house? Do you think it won’t be ready? Or that it won’t feel like your family home? It’ll be magical – a perfect place to start your life as Alan’s wife. Are you getting cold feet? Is the wedding still on?
Back at CL’s, Kyle thinks they need to find out if Victor has any Jabot employees in his pocket. If so, we have to let them go. Jack thinks they can use this to their advantage.
Victor connects the dots. Dumar’s connected to Billy and has shown interest in Winters Inc. Dumar owned Arabesque. Tucker owned Glacade. Both are French words. Mike leaps to Victor’s conclusion – are you suggesting that Tucker and Aristotle are the same man?
Nikki credits Jack with saving her – but Victor will never see it that way, she tells Lauren.
Those working for Victor obviously have a price – the way Jack sees it anything that wipes the smug look off Victor’s face is well worth it.
Mike and Victor brainstorm. Dumar contacted Billy – also Ashley’s sibling. Maybe Tucker’s trying to win her back. Nate’s involved with Audra – who was involved with Tucker and stole Glacade off him. Maybe it’s Tucker and he’s come back.
Diane thinks Traci seems more nervous than excited – I’m here to listen. Alan’s made me very happy, Traci claims – then is saved by the phone. It’s Alan.
Victor tells Mike to dig into it. I’ll do anything to protect my family! (he accuses Mike of not being committed to the cause) Nikki comes home as Victor excuses himself to take a call. That leaves Nikki to ask Mike what he’s working on for Victor. Don’t do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. If I quit, who will protect Victor from going too far? Mike reminds Nikki that ‘we’ almost lost him (so he’s not going anywhere)
Kyle now asks his Dad why he keeps checking his phone. Jack’s waiting for a wedding update from Traci. Is there trouble between her and Alan? Not wanting to lie to Kyle, Jack confides they might have a problem with Traci’s fiance.
I need to take this, Traci gets up (since Diane’s not going anywhere) When are you coming home? You have no idea how much I want to look in your eyes and see the man I’m going to marry.
Mike (now gone) reiterated his devotion to you, Nikki’s home to tell Victor – but Lauren’s worried you’re getting him into trouble. Are you? I wouldn’t do that, Victor considers him family – he’d never hurt Mike.
When Mike joins her in the lounge, Lauren instantly guesses he just came from seeing Victor. There’ll be no more Peruvian prison stays in my future, Mike jokes. If Victor asks you to cross a line, back away from him, Lauren wants him to promise.
On the patio, Jack reassures Kyle that Alan’s done nothing to hurt Traci. He can’t betray her confidence. Kyle won’t push but if I can help, just ask. Neither want Traci taken advantage of.
Forcing a smile, Traci returns to sit down with Diane (who thinks she looks hurt and again asks what’s going on with her and the man she’s about to marry)
