In the club’s dining room, Diane tells Jack that they should be able to move back into the house in a couple of weeks. Noticing that he’s distracted, she wonders why.

Holden’s (unpleasantly) surprised that Damian’s brought Nate to what he thought was a friend get-together. This isn’t a social gathering, Damian asks if he knows anything about Lily being told disinformation about his connection to Aristotle Dumar.

How are things going with Billy? Chloe asks Sally (at CL’s) Things are good – we’re strong, Sally lies – then admits that she’s not happy that Billy’s working with Phyllis, despite her warning.

At Society, Phyllis tells Billy that she did some research on Aristotle Dumar but came up with a ‘big fat nothing’ – odd. His kind of money can buy anonymity, Billy wouldn’t involve his company in anything nefarious. Phyllis wants to know what secret Dumar asked him to keep.

Diane knows Jack’s worried about something personal. No, it’s not Kyle, Jack’s looking forward to the big reveal – it’s nice to have something to look forward too, for all of us.

Sally doesn’t even want to know the story about Phyllis having Kevin help her remove a dead body. She’s not worried about Phyllis making a play for him but doesn’t want her involved in his new business. Chloe suggests she take a page out of her own devious playbook and get Phyllis out of Billy’s orbit for good.

Billy asks Phyllis to trust him – I’ve got this. She doesn’t want to go down this path again and is nervous that he’ll lose focus. We can make this company flourish without the safety net of Chancellor. She needs this for herself and Daniel. She worries Billy’s connection to Dumar could derail the whole thing. Billy will look him in the eye to determine if his offer’s genuine. He seems determined to help get Chancellor back. He can’t turn his back on Dumar because he wants to keep a low profile. Lily appears to wonder why she keeps hearing Dumar’s name everywhere. Is he on your radar too???

Come on man, we’re friends and business partners – how could you think I’d do something like that? Holden’s insulted. You used to treat me with respect. Damian counts on Holden to have his back. You hurl accusations, ignore my ideas, Holden whines. You’re different now – Holden leans around to ask Nate’s if he’s the reason.

What is Chloe suggesting? If anyone can push Phyllis out of the picture, it’s you, Chloe declares her (Phyllis) a time bomb who needs to be stopped before she blows up Billy’s new business. Sally doesn’t want to risk her relationship with Billy – this could blow up in her face. I’m not that woman anymore, she adds. Fine – don’t complain when it’s too late and Phyllis leads your man off a cliff, Chloe replies.

What’s your connection to Dumar? Lily asks. Eavesdropping on a private conversation doesn’t give you the right to ask questions, Phyllis scolds. We’re all curious about Dumar – Billy suggests they share information.
