There are challenges in every relationship, Jack thinks whether a couple faces it together of lets it pull them apart is key. Victor will continue the pressure. Agreeing, Kyle worries that Claire might start to listen to him.

Vikki believes her Dad wants Claire to be happy but is convinced she won’t be with Kyle. As for Summer, he might not have thought she needed his protection. Claire can take care of herself – if she gets knocked down, she’ll get up and fight back.

Damian’s insulted by Lily’s insinuation that he’d stay away if he knew his mother was dying and he didn’t know that Jackson wasn’t his real father. Who’s feeding you these lies? Nate comes downstairs to ask what’s going on.

Damian works for Dumar – he set it up to look like he owns the company because he keeps a low profile. Dumar is the one who told him about their family business – he advised Damian to hear Nate out. He didn’t expect to learn that his mother’s sick and that he had a brother. Whoever told Lily otherwise is the one playing her.

Kyle’s sure Victor’s badmouthing him to Claire – what if he wears her down and forces her to choose? Claire has people in her corner (like Nikki) Victor has no one in his, Jack points out. He has Summer, Kyle informs.

There was a truce between Victor and Jack when Kyle was married to Summer, Vikki informs. It ended when your grandmother was drinking. Blaming herself for that, Claire needs to find a way to change Victor’s mind.

Leaving Society, Vikki tells Claire that Victor didn’t approve of Cole when he came back to town. Eventually, he earned his respect. Claire confides that Summer doesn’t approve of her relationship with Kyle (or Harrison) – she seems threatened. Vikki just wants what’s best for Claire (which is up to her to decide) As they hug, Claire looks sad.

Does Summer see Claire as a threat? Jack got the impression that she might want Kyle back. She did make a point of saying Victor would like that. It’s not beneath Victor to take advantage of that angle, Jack warns.

Lily finds her source is more reliable than Damian (who’s told conflicted stories) Nate represented his agenda – you sent an impostor in your place. She was willing to accept Damian for Nate’s sake but doesn’t trust him, nor will she let him or Dumar hurt her family. After Lily storms out, Nate admits that he has doubts too. Amy then comes down to ask what the hell is going on.

Now alone, Jack leaves a message for Traci. When Vikki arrives at the club, they briefly touch on their chats with Kyle and Claire. Jack asks her to pass a message on to Victor – if he interferes in Claire and Kyle’s relationship he’ll answer to me. To me as well, Vikki’s left to mutter to herself.

Kyle and Claire are happy to run into each other at CL’s. They don’t care what anyone else thinks.

Just a brotherly disagreement, Damian and Nate lie. Amy heard Lily so knows it wasn’t about basketball. I want the truth and you’re gonna give it to me!
