Traci tells Jack that Alan’s messages weren’t random – they included an alert about a gas expulsion. Relaying what Sharon told her, she thinks it’s just too many coincidences. Plus, there’s the out-of-the-blue proposal, then him taking off to Paris. Am I going crazy or is there something here??!

Chelsea and Adam sit Connor down for what they hope he’ll consider good news. We’re so proud of you, they begin. No, we’re not getting a dog. They’ve decided to be a couple again. You said good news – pause – this is the BEST news! Connor grins.

At the park overlook, Phyllis agrees with Billy that Diane’s a button pusher – she triggered me and brought back memories of the clinic; the smells. The trapped, weak feeling came back. You’re one of the strongest people I know, Billy reasons – what you went through is enough to throw anyone off their game. You WILL bounce back. Phyllis can’t let her kids see her like this – I have to pull it together. How can Billy help? Phyllis has an idea.

Why would Alan kidnap Sharon and Phyllis? Jack’s baffled. The Alan Traci knows is the sweetest man she’s ever met – but what if the man she’s in love with isn’t really Alan? Jack looks stunned.

I knew this would happen, it was so obvious, Connor pokes fun at his parents. Why were you so nervous? You thought the OCD would punish me again for being happy? That won’t happen he reassures. We’re a real family again ~hugs~

What if Alan was the one to die in Paris? And Martin’s been pretending to be Alan? Traci poses. All this time? Jack’s sceptical – you deserve to be happy with a good person; Alan’s a wonderful man. It might all be too good to be true, Traci doesn’t want it to be true but there’s too many red flags – the messages were too specific. ‘Alan’ snapped at her when she asked him about them. There was an urgency to him going to Paris. Jack agrees – something’s off – we’ll look into it.

Back in the park, Phyllis wants to distract her mind by focusing on business. Are you familiar with Aristotle Dumar? Billy reports that he’s interested in Abbott Communications. How so? Phyllis thinks it a good sign.

Given permission to tell anyone he wants, Connor’s told to slow down when asking if they’re getting married. No, Billy and Sally don’t know. They’ve moved on but want you to be happy though. It’s OK that you still care about them, Chelsea assures with a hug.

Traci opened her heart to Alan in Paris – and it was probably Martin the whole time. How could I have fallen for this? What am I gonna do? She wants advice from her brother. You’re not going to Paris, Jack decides.

No, Jack didn’t pull his funding but Billy won’t turn down an investor. When Phyllis demands the truth – always, he admits that Aristotle Dumar is the key to Chancellor.

Now alone, Chelsea and Adam are thrilled with Connor’s reaction to their news. He’s good, we’re good – we have an amazing family ~kiss~

What does Aristotle have to do with Chancellor? He’s going to help right the wrong done to us and take the fallout (with Victor) Billy explains. Are you out of your mind?! Phyllis is astonished.

Traci already told ‘Alan’ that she can’t come to Paris right now. Martin pretended to be Alan once. He (Alan) told her and Ashley that Martin is capable of anything. He already tricked Ashley, she reminds Jack. Instead, they decide to tell Chance but no one else (not even their unstable sister who’s actually in Paris) If she’s wrong, Traci knows she’ll lose Alan (who will never forgive her) Jack doesn’t think she’s wrong.
