Daniel approaches Sharon at Society to ask how she’s doing. He’s happy to hear she’s doing good. At least it’s over – you and my Mom are both home safe. It’s not over by a long-shot, Sharon disagrees.

Phyllis is awakened from her nightmare by a knock at the door. Mom! Are you there? Summer arrives with Nick to ask if she’s OK.

When Sally drops by, Billy apologizes if it seemed like he was pushing her out when Phyllis came by earlier. He doesn’t want any secrets between them. Wait, was Phyllis asking you to keep one? Sally’s immediately suspicious.

Phyllis is annoyed – tell your daughter she doesn’t need to check on me every few minutes! So what if she had a bad dream!? – leave me alone! Good night! she tries to slam the door but Nick holds it open – that’s not happening.

No, Phyllis didn’t ask Billy to keep a secret. Our exes lied to us, he reminds. That’s why honesty is so important to both him and Sally. Phyllis thanked him for saving her life. Perhaps Sally should worry – when you save someone’s life you’re bonded to them forever (though Billy saving Chelsea didn’t bond them forever)

Now inside Phyllis’ suite, Nick and Summer continue to fuss until she shouts – STOP! I was held captive with someone I despise – who’s sick enough to do that!?

Now seated with Sharon, Daniel continues to relate/pick her brain. The irony of her and Phyllis being trapped together wasn’t lost on either of us, Sharon muses that whoever kidnapped them maybe wanted them to make amends.

Over drinks at the club, Mike doesn’t have any info on Jabot. Victor then asks about Aristotle Dumas.

Billy reassures Sally – you don’t have to worry about Phyllis (though he’s worried about her) The kidnapper is still out there. This’ll be hard for her to get over – something cracked inside her while she was being held captive.

Sharon wouldn’t call being locked up with Phyllis a ‘favour’ but maybe the cruel point was proving that enemies can work together – we saved each other’s lives. Daniel has to ask if Sharon’s really moved past her anger towards his Mom – or are you pretending?

Phyllis suggests Nick go hold Sharon’s hand. He just wants to help them both heal. Summer stands by helplessly as her Mom breaks down in Nick’s arms – Make it stop! she sobs.

Sharon and Daniel bond over moving forward instead of going to a ‘dark place’. Phyllis will be fine – she’s stronger than all of us, she assures him.

Phyllis is sorry for being a blubbering idiot but how is she supposed to deal with the changed dynamic between her and the woman who’s always been her enemy?
