Nate calls Audra with the update on Amy – he and Damian are going to Chicago to be with her. Audra understands – give her my love. I’ll be waiting, she ends the call. Looks like you’re free after all, Holden grins.
Damian gushes about how much he likes GC and its friendly people. He recently learned that his Mother lived here. Now that he’s had the pleasure, he wonders why she left – it seems like a good fit for her. Nate comes down to say good bye to his cousins. Going to the club to pack a bag, Damian shakes Nate’s hand – thanks for everything; it means a lot.
Victor was just being polite. Kyle’s not buying it – what’s your obsession with my family? Forget about this war. Victor has – have a nice day.
Now seated at a table for lunch, Holden’s brought a glass of wine over for Audra so he doesn’t have to drink alone. It’s too early for Audra (who does take a sip as Holden reminisces about Margaritas and singing Metallica at the top of her lungs. Lily and Devon arrive at Society to scowl at the laughing pair.
Devon and Lily would like to be in on the joke. Holden explains that he was just reminding Audra of something funny. She introduces Holden to Devon and Lily – he and Damian go way back. Audra expresses how fond she is of Amy. Yes, you seem a lot brighter recently, the joking, smiling, Lily says pointedly. They leave Holden to correctly guess that Nate’s family hasn’t warmed up to Audra. Meanwhile, Lily asks Devon – what’s that all about?
While Damian’s upstairs getting his bag, Nate leaves a message for Amy – he and Damian are on their way. Your son’s anxious to be by your side. See you soon.
Summer asks Kyle what her grandpa said to upset him. You’re being paranoid. He’d just love to hear about any tension in your family. Why does he care that Claire and I are together? Kyle’s stumped. Summer thinks Victor wants her and Kyle to get back together.
Victor hasn’t told Summer this directly but we know how he feels about family. Yes, he does indeed think he can dictate our personal lives. Why would he want us together? Kyle again wonders. For Harrison’s sake. Summer’s not advocating for this by the way. Kyle hates that Victor’s put Claire in the middle.
Damian comes down to again thank Nate for all he’s done for his Mother. Now, we need the treatment to work its magic. Nate knows it hasn’t been easy for Damian – but when all the pieces fall into place it could be a happy ending.
Lily continues to watch Holden and Audra. Devon wouldn’t read too much into it – Nate and Audra’s relationship isn’t our business – they can handle it. Lily worries it might be an ambush – there’s more to the story than Damian and Holden are telling us.
