Kyle had plans with Claire tonight but Summer’s got a video conference with Tokyo. The date’s back on, Diane declares. You’re the best, Kyle’s pleased.

Are you keeping your distance so Nate doesn’t clue in? Holden asks. No – Audra told him. His priority is Amy and his half brother. Some guy I knew years ago doesn’t rate. When she asks about Damian, Holden says he’s a good guy – they trust one another – but it was a transition going from his friend to his employee. Yes, Damian has a temper.

Damian feels loyalty to his Dad – a good man who loved him and his Mom. Part of him wants to know about his biological father. It’s not choosing sides but Nate doesn’t know much about their father; he passed when I was young. My Mom and her sister (Devon and Lily’s mother) were in love with Nathan at the same time. No, Nate doesn’t believe their Dad knew. We have that in common, losing our fathers. Nate can relate – there are questions we’ll never get answers to.

Diane kept Harrison in mind with the renovations – it’ll be a home he and Jack will love. She’d like to see some of herself reflected in the house – to feel included. It’s your home, your family, Kyle understands. Thanks for babysitting – you saved me.

Victor’s known Kyle since he was a baby. He warned her mother about Billy Boy and she finally got rid of him. Claire asks her grandfather not to do anything to make his point. You’re over 21, you make up your own mind – just know where I stand, Victor concludes. Nothing else. Do I have your word? Oh yeah, Victor lies.

Now your ‘understudy’ is trying to replace me, Nate jokes when Audra arrives with Holden. After being introduced to Audra, Damian asks Holden why he hasn’t left for LA. Holden’s taking a later flight. And he hates airplane food, Audra explains that she agreed to have lunch with him. She’s pleased to hear that Amy went with the specialist to Chicago for tests. On his way out, Damian pulls Holden aside – what the hell are you doing?

Kyle and I are in sync when it comes to Victor, Summer tells Jack that he never has to worry about her and Kyle. Nothing can come between us for too long. Knowing we have your support means everything to me.

You can always come to me, Victor doesn’t want the Abbotts to fill Claire’s beautiful head with nonsense. They envy our success and our closeness. It’s been the case since Jack became head of that family. Remember that, he gives Claire a hug.

Kyle will be sure to load Harrison up on sugar before his Mom babysits. He then calls Claire – I want you all to myself.

We didn’t come to this town to play, Damian growls. You should be back to LA to do what needs to be done. This trip isn’t an excuse to get back with your ex – this is complicated enough. Audra’s involved with my half brother – you don’t see the problem with that? Go back to LA and do the job I pay you to do. Holden looks back at Audra (who seems to have watched the tense exchange while Nate’s busy on his phone)

Diane meets Jack at the club – we have big plans tonight – watching Harrison. How’d that happen? It’s a wonderful plan for everyone, she’s thrilled. But not everyone will be happy about it, Jack tells her. No, not Victor – Summer. He has a nagging feeling she might want Kyle back.

Summer eavesdrops as Kyle tells Claire that his Mom offered to babysit when hearing how much he missed her. Claire can’t wait. Victor’s also eavesdrops.

Not smiling, Nate observes that Audra’s in a good mood. Because I saw you, she claims. After he excuses himself to take a call, Holden comes back – he has to go – how about lunch when I get back from LA? Give me a call, Audra says – safe travels, Nate returns
to say ‘I’ll leave you two to your lunch’. No – Holden’s leaving. And after he does, Nate asks – what’s really going on with you two?

Next Week: Jack and Diane sit across from them Traci and Alan. When Traci looks at Alan she’s reminded of what it means to be completely happy. If I thought I had a shot I’d ask you to marry me right now, Alan’s smitten … At the bar, Claire takes a sip of her martini. Hmm – strong. Guess James Bond is tougher than me. Holden sits at a stool one over to say ‘I somehow I doubt that’. … OMG, Phyllis doubles over. What’s wrong? Sharon asks. I’m so nauseous, Phyllis groans.
