At CL’s, Holden turns on the charm – Audra gives him the cold shoulder. She is NOT interested.

Seated for lunch at the club, Nate sings the praises of his doctor friend. Damian appreciates him arranging it – but doesn’t think he can ever forgive his Mom.

Summer runs into Jack – literally, at Society. You’re not alone in this, he reassures – then is puzzled when Summer adds that Kyle’s been so supportive. She’s glad they’re ‘reconnecting this way’. Reconnecting what way? Jack’s alarmed.

Meeting Kyle on the patio, Diane knows he’s as eager to return to the house as Jack is. Yes, Kyle’s not having a lot of alone time with Claire (which would make ‘some people’ happy)

Claire drops by the ranch to bluntly ask her grandfather if there’s any chance he’s encouraging Summer to pursue Kyle.

Audra joins Holden to make it perfectly clear that she’s happy with Nate and so, not available. Us being here is coincidence, not kismet. Implying that he’s bored, Holden just wants to be friends – so he has someone to call and hang out with. Is that too much to ask?

How can you not forgive your dying mother? Nate doesn’t understand. Damian can’t get over Amy lying to him and his Dad – she sat on the truth all that time. Nate wonders when was the right time to tell him? How would you have handled it? People do things they regret. You need to decide how long it’ll take for you to forgive her.

You think I want Kyle to be with one of my granddaughters and not the other? Victor doesn’t want him with either. So you don’t want Kyle to be with Summer? Absolutely not, Victor says.

Summer’s quick to clarify that she only meant reconnecting with Kyle as friends – Kyle’s been very supportive. Our bond came first. Yes, the day you were born, Jack smiles. Summer’s happy he and Kyle are good and that Kyle’s himself again. It reminds her of the good times, in the best possible way.

Diane has to ask if there’s any reason Kyle hasn’t asked her and Jack to babysit Harrison. It’s not a snub, Kyle just didn’t think to ask them. Diane would love to have some time with Harrison – and you can have some time with Claire.

Summer entertains Jack by telling him that Harrison has her and Kyle play rock paper scissors to see who he spends the night with. Kyle loves you and Diane so much and she (Summer) doesn’t let her grandfather off the hook. Jack’s used to it but won’t let it affect his family. You were an honorary Abbott and I’m still your Uncle Jack. Summer would never side with her grandpa against Jack and hates the thought of Harrison being caught between his families. Jack assures that he and Kyle will never let that happen.

Yes, Claire might have these feelings because of her Aunt, or her insecurity. Are you feeling insecure because deep down you feel your relationship with Kyle is a mistake? Victor asks. No, she’s not insecure about her feelings or Kyle’s. She’s concerned that her grandfather will never give them a chance together.

Jack credits Summer and Kyle for Harrison being the great kid he is. It’s not just us – it’s love from all sides, she says. Jack acknowledges that Victor probably adores his grandson but has a long history of using people to get what he wants. Summer doesn’t think he’d do anything to hurt Harrison, not intentionally. She and Kyle are finally working as a team again – and Harrison can feel it. What she says next catches Jack totally off-guard. Claire leaving her nanny job to work for my grandma is the best thing that’s happened to my family.
