With Chance out of earshot, Summer tells her Dad that she’s not sure they’ll get back together. Nick feels he’s going the extra mile for her. Despite just saying he’s 99.9% sure something bad’s happened, Nick wants to stay positive. Chance returns as Daniel and Billy arrive. Phyllis’ car is at the club. Billy wonders if they’re together – not by choice.
The argument escalates to the point that Phyllis snarls at Sharon – that’s it! You want to fight? The gloves are off!
My kids and I aren’t the reason we’re in here! Phyllis shouts and points her finger in Sharon’s face – this is probably one of YOUR fellow patients from one of YOUR nut-house stays. The only person YOU (Sharon) should be pointing the finger at is YOU! Sharon’s just trying to brainstorm. We might be playing into our captors’ hands. Do you want us to get along or keep fighting to the death?! Phyllis shouts at the intercom.
Who the hell would take both of them? Chance wonders. Daniel reminds that it can’t be Ian or Jordan. There’s been no call for ransom. Summer has to wonder if her Mom kidnapped Sharon – or visa versa.
What are you doing!? Sharon yelps. Phyllis is going to break the window with this chair. You’re going to get us both killed! Sharon now grips the chair also.
Ester tells Nick that she has a very important meeting – she’s having her coffee grounds read. Nick will make sure she gets there – have any other employees heard from Sharon? After Ester goes to check, Nick rejoins the group to say this should stay between us for now. Chance gets another call – Sharon’s car is at Cassidy First. He’s going to try tracing the burners the missing ladies called from. All are trying not to assume the worst.
After a brief tussle, Sharon lets go of the chair – fine, break the glass and we’ll freeze to death. Both seated on the couch, she puts her arm around Phyllis, who asks their captor ‘are you entertained’? He only cares about the game – what is worth everything but costs nothing?
