Serving Nick and Summer at CL’s, Ester’s worried about Sharon (who hasn’t answered her messages) Oh? She’s on a trip – how nice (sarcasm) Chance arrives with an update on Phyllis – there’s no trace of her leaving town.
At Billy’s, he and Daniel worry about Phyllis
Phyllis awakens to pour coffee while Sharon’s been busy going through books, looking for clues.
After taking a call, Chance tells the worried Summer and Nick that there’s no record of Sharon checking into any spas in Sedona.
(Like Summer) Billy thinks Phyllis would have told them if she was going away on Abbott Communications business. Daniel then adds that Sharon apparently left town too – she and his Mom called around the same time on burner phones. Could they have gone somewhere together?
Continuing to flip through books, Sharon thinks their captor might have been a patient or doctor here. Phyllis thinks she’s wasting her time – and yes, she DOES have a better idea.
Chance tells Nick and Summer that not only is there no record of Sharon being in Sedona or of her flying there. The car’s not at the house, Nick assumed she drove. He’s 99.9% sure this isn’t good.
Phyllis’ idea is to negotiate – we’re the mother’s of Victor’s grandchildren – he has deep pockets. Sharon doubts this is about money. Everyone has a price, Phyllis insists. This is about proving something (and their shared history), Sharon does have a degree in psychology after all.
Daniel and Billy both believe that Phyllis was sincere when saying she’s let go of revenge against Sharon. Maybe they were taken together, Billy suggests.
Who would want to kidnap Sharon and Phyllis and put them in the same room? quips. They’d be begging us to take them back by now, Billy agrees. Ian and Jordan are the only ones crazy enough to do this, but they’re both dead. When Summer calls to summon Daniel to CL’s, he’s fine with Billy tagging along.
When Sharon suggests Daniel and Summer locked them in here to work out their issues, an ‘offended’ Phyllis counters with – maybe Faith’s teaching you a lesson, and Mariah hasn’t always been an angel. Or, maybe it’s Nick who wants us to work things out.
