Damian’s overnight success is a lie? Nate wonders why his PI didn’t find all this out (and how Lily did) He’s further annoyed to hear that Victor’s the source of the intel – and that Lily’s met with his brother ‘a couple of times’.
Lily defends herself against Nate’s ire – if Damian finds out you had him investigated, he might get pissed off and leave town (without making amends with Amy) Did you even think of that?!
Damian and Amy continue to work through their issues. Both lost everything when Jackson died; neither took his death well. Is it too late? He’s willing to try.
Billy has confidence in Phyllis – we all have our flaws and he doesn’t intend to spend the evening defending his decision (to Diane) To defuse the tension, Sally takes Billy to the kitchen, leaving Diane to ask Jack if he knew Phyllis was part of this when he agreed to foot the bill???
Discussing her diagnosis, Amy’s not holding out much hope that Nate’s oncologist friend will deliver good news. Yes, she and Nate have gotten close – he’s a good man. Damian asks how well she’s gotten to know his family.
Nate appreciates Amy’s insight into the father he lost too young. Going to Victor is a mistake. Lily told him it was business. Nate asks her to respect his boundaries – are we clear. Yes.
When Sally and Billy return, Diane asks for a tour of the house – leaving the brothers to discuss Phyllis. Jack worries – keep your eyes open; she’s not good at following rules.
Amy doesn’t know Devon or Lily but loves Nate’s girlfriend. She wonders why Damian’s so curious about Nate’s cousins. Yes, he’s thinking about getting to know his brother.
Devon doubts Lily going to Victor will interfere in the situation between Amy and Damian – tell us what you need and we’ll do it. Leave it alone, Nate’s got this.
At the club, Jack tells Diane that he wants this to work for Billy – he wants his brother to fly. Anything involving Phyllis is destined for a crash landing, she’s sure.
Back at the house, Sally agrees with Diane when it comes to Phyllis. She knows this is her last chance, Billy thinks something’s going on. Are you worried something happened to her?? Billy’s expression reads ‘yes’.
