Summer rejoins Daniel to hear what Billy said. Sorry she blew off his concerns last night, she decides they must call Chance.
Audra comes downstairs ready to take on Holden – I can handle myself, she assures Amy. And don’t you worry either, she gives Nate a quick kiss and leaves him to comfort Amy.
Holden leaves Damien to try to ‘charm’ Lily. He didn’t leave because seeing her ‘knocked him sideways’. She’s not flattered (or interested) You aren’t the least bit curious about me? he persists.
Billy suggests Phyllis is caught up in her own chaos. She’s spontaneous, he says again. When Sally reminds him that someone ran Phyllis off the road, Billy points out that those responsible are dead. He’ll call Phyllis himself.
Meeting at Society, Audra makes it clear this isn’t a date – it’s a means to an end. There for Nate and Amy, Audra orders Holden to do whatever it takes to change Damien’s mind.
Back at CL’s, Lily only wants to know more about Damien because she’s protective of her family. Referring to his mother as ‘Amy’, Damien cut ties with her after his father died; things weren’t the same. How did you reach your level of success so ‘unrealistically fast’? Lily suspects Damien didn’t play by the rules. What’s your secret? It wouldn’t be a secret if I told you, Damien’s coy.
Over lunch at the apartment, Amy worries that stress over Damien will feed her illness. Nate’s reached out to a colleague in research; he and wants to send her medical records.
Call your kids and let them know you’re OK, Billy leaves a message for Phyllis. Sally wonders if he wants to go home to help Daniel and Summer figure out what’s going on.
Chance joins Summer and Daniel to hear that Phyllis hasn’t been heard from since yesterday. She wouldn’t worry us like this. Summer asks Chance to track Phyllis down as a way to redeem himself for what he put Daniel through.
The plan was for us to pretend we didn’t see each other again – it was an unwelcome surprise to Audra. She and Nate are very much a couple. Do you love him? Holden asks. There’s a dying woman whose dying wish is to see her son – will you help or not?? Audra asks.
Your mother seems sweet and sincere – don’t you want to give her peace before she goes? Lily suggests he pretends to have forgiven Amy. Then what? Hug my half brother? Damien’s full of scorn. He’s been straight with both of them – there’s nothing he wants or needs. How exactly am I a threat? he challenges Lily.
Nate’s determined to try give Amy more time – it’s what my Dad would want. In tears Amy agrees that he can send her medical records off for a second opinion – thank you for wanting to save me.
Whether Lily trusts Damien isn’t the point. Her parents passed away suddenly – with much left unsaid. Amy’s your mother – you must care about her. One day you might regret it. No, Damien’s regrets are reserved for people who didn’t lie to him. Lily tells him to be honest with himself if not with her. Have dinner with me, Damien asks. Ask me again after you’ve made peace with your mother, Lily says before clip-clopping out.
Chance will help Daniel and Summer find Phyllis. I’m on it.
Billy’s sure they’d find Phyllis before he even got off the plane in GC. No, Sally’s not trying to kick him out – this is your sister’s place after all. Wanting to show Sally around Paris on their last night there, both look worried as they hug.
Wondering what Audra’s willing to give him for helping her, Holden confides that Damien’s sticking around because of a woman. The ‘who’ is confidential. He won’t betray his bosses’ confidence.
Amy owes Nate more than she can say. Both are surprised when Damien comes knocking at the door asking ‘is Amy here’?
