Maybe Mom’s phone died, Summer suggests – or maybe she’s asleep upstairs. She tells her worried brother that the people who were a threat are dead. If Mom doesn’t meet us for breakfast (as planned), THEN we can worry. The siblings then joke about whether Summer’s a jealous stalker. Ha ha.
Lauren’s understands that Mike sees Victor as a father figure ‘but you could have died that night’. Mike has no regrets about how that night ended – Ian got what he deserved. Now Lauren wants to hear the rest of the story. She knows that Mike crossed the line.
Enjoy your fabricated bliss, it won’t last, Victor warns Jack and Diane on his way out. The Abbotts then stroll over to Kyle and Nikki’s table to ask what they missed with ‘old grumpy’.

Nikki’s sorry Victor was so harsh – he’s just being protective of Claire. No, he wants to control her life, Diane chimes in. Victor’s sure the house of Abbott will fall, Kyle adds. No, this won’t scare Claire away, will it?
Mike changes the subject to how gorgeous his wife looks tonight and leading her onto the dancefloor, suggests they go upstairs and grab a room.
Claire won’t be scared off but wishes her grandfather would come around. Nikki agrees to talk to him again (thought it won’t help) When Kyle wonders again about Victor’s warning, Jack’s sure he’s working on something right now. Diane rolls her eyes when Nikki calls what Jack did for her as heroic as Victor taking a bullet for her.
Daniel won’t let Summer change the subject – are things not back on track with Chance? She’s not sure she wants to get back with him after the way he treated her family. He was just doing his job, Daniel’s let it go and thinks Summer should too.
Summer’s not hungry anymore – she’s going to go up and do some work – see you at breakfast. Daniel apologizes for mentioning Kyle. Making it clear that the subject is now dropped for good, Summer marches towards the staircase.
Nikki hates to agree with Diane, of all people, but she knows her husband well – this is far from over.
At home, Victor has a drink and pulls out his phone.
