Over drinks in the jazz lounge, Jack’s too worried about Diane’s ‘demolition’ plans to relax – but not so worried that she’s unable to distract him with a kiss.

At Society, Summer and Kyle discuss the rave reactions to Harrison’s ‘diorama’. It was ‘fun’ to work on it together. She’s there to dine with Daniel – he’s meeting Claire, Victor and Nikki. Sounds like a big deal, Summer pouts.

Victor thanks Mike for coming out to the ranch. He blames him and Cole for Jordan being able to escape – but appreciates Mike not leaving when Ian told him to (at gunpoint). Now that they’re gone, Victor wants to resume his plan to go after Jack – via Jabot.

Diane’s been going through the archives for products Jabot Classic can put back on the shelves with new marketing/packaging. Retro is current, after all. When Jack again worries about the house, Diane again distracts him – this time with a dance.

Agreeing that Kyle and Claire don’t need her grandparents approval, Summer reminds that Victor didn’t have a problem when they were together. Kyle doesn’t care if Victor approves or not – it won’t affect his relationship with Claire. Seconds later, Daniel arrives to find his sister staring at Kyle (now at the bar)

Mike’s recruited Glacade employees to embed at Jabot as spies – but haven’t Jack, Diane and Kyle suffered enough? Not according to Victor.

Daniel knows ‘that look’ and doesn’t understand why Summer’s surprised that Kyle’s ‘going to so much trouble’ for Claire (who he ‘barely knows’) Daniel’s not buying it for a minute; he knows that Summer’s bothered by Kyle and Claire’s relationship.

Jack approves of Diane’s ‘bold and brilliant’ ideas for Jabot Classic. His support and approval means everything to her. You’ll always have that, he assures – everything’s going so well for them – even Victor can’t ruin that.

Victor shouts at Mike – next step is a simple fact-finding mission. Jack nearly killed Nikki in that hotel room – are you with me or not!? ‘Always’, Mike’s tasked with digging up info on Jabot’s new products – then, Victor will devise his strategy. Claire arrives to hope she’s not interrupting. That sounded important, she comments after Mike leaves.

Diane’s not sure Victor’s given up on revenge against them. Jack refuses to worry that ‘old grumpy’ will come between Claire and Kyle; who’s now a wiser/stronger man. They can handle whatever Victor throws at them, he’s sure.

Summer’s NOT jealous of Kyle and Claire’s relationship – she’s just worried that her grandfather will continue to treat her ex badly if Claire keeps ‘stoking the fire’. Sceptical, Daniel warns Summer that she sounds like Mom – then surprises her with the news that he’s accepted Billy’s job offer.
