When Harrison goes inside to get Mrs Martinez a treat, Kyle tells Summer that he was supposed to have dinner with Claire and Victor, so doesn’t mind cancelling. She wants to show her grandfather that I’m a good guy. Yes, Kyle’s willing to try to get Victor’s approval – for Claire’s sake. Summer points out that Victor always supported THEIR relationship. Things must be getting serious with Claire. We’re very happy, Kyle hopes that’s not gonna be a problem.

No problem at all – Summer’s happy if Kyle is – Claire’s certainly better than Audra. She’s the most incredible woman I’ve ever been with, Kyle quickly apologizes. That came out wrong. He’s excited about the future and it’s all because of Claire.

Victor hopes Claire will come to her senses. Claire wants to be with Kyle and he wants to be with me. She excuses herself to take Kyle’s call – he can’t make it to dinner – he and Summer have to help Harrison with a school project. Dinner together has been a hard sell anyway, she admits. You’re off the hook, she tells Victor that Kyle has to spend the evening with Harrison and Summer.

When it’s decided that Summer will meet Kyle and Harrison at the house, Harrison pulls them in for a group hug – I love you guys. You’re the best Mom and Dad ever.

Nick’s never given up on me – his encouragement meant everything, Sharon gushes before cutting herself off – I’ve taken up enough of your time. If you need me I’m on the other side of the property, ‘neighbours’. Adam and Chelsea are left to discuss how tiring it’ll be having to constantly tell people they aren’t a couple despite living together.

At Society, Nick tells Vikki that Faith’s holding up – she’s tough. And Sharon? Bouncing back – he hates what Ian and Jordan put her (and everyone else) through. I hope they’re both rotting in hell.

Kyle will always put Summer first – their history is hard to compete with, Victor wonders what Claire sees in him. He’s kind and makes me feel safe. Claire won’t give up on changing her grandfather’s mind. Summer arrives to greet her grandpa and apologize to Claire for ruining her dinner plans.

Kyle and I can have dinner anytime, Claire knows Harrison’s school project comes first. I’m not giving up, she tells her grandfather – then leaves Summer to chat with Victor.

Kyle and Harrison return to the house with supplies for his school project. Yes, he’s happy that Mom’s coming over. Remembering how much they used to fight, Harrison wonders if they’re only pretending to be nice to each other because of him.

Nick leaves when Claire joins her Mom at Society. Knowing she’s not ‘fine’, Vikki asks if there’s anything she can do. Yes – tell me how to win a fight with Victor Newman.

Claire hoped that if Victor came out to dinner with her and Kyle, he’d see how good they are together. She WILL convince him that Kyle’s the perfect man for her. Good luck with that, Vikki says.

Harrison loves that they can have fun together – just the three of us – like the old times.

Chelsea loves the quilt Sharon brought over. She and Adam then joke about the chips she ate. He comments on the way Sharon glowed when talking about Nick – almost like she’s developing feelings for him again.

Nick’s pleasantly surprised to find Summer at the ranch. When Victor mentions Chelsea moving in with Adam for Harrison’s sake, Summer hopes he doesn’t expect her to move in with the Abbotts. After she leaves to go to Kyle’s, Nick asks – did I just hear you encourage Summer to get back with Kyle?
