Hogan reads the background reports on Nate aloud. He was a surgeon – his Mom’s working with Doctors Without Borders – his father was a PI who died when he was young. Damien needs more information before he makes his next move.
Audra and Nate encourage Amy to remember the bond she and Damien shared – what can you tell me about my brother? Oh, OK, Amy shares the story of Damien taking in a stray cat without permission (which Jackson quickly grew to love) We used to be so close – I love him so much, Amy weeps.
Phyllis made a promise to her kids and herself to let it go. But don’t get it twisted – I don’t forgive you. Sharon claims to understand. You did more than plant evidence – Daniel had to see blood soaked towels. You told the police that Heather was afraid of him. Sharon wishes she could take it all back. Nick arrives in time to hear Phyllis tell Sharon that once Daniel gets past the shock, he’ll hate her too.
Nick joins his two exex to back up Sharon. Ian’s to blame – Summer said you’d moved on, it doesn’t seem like that. Phyllis has – she just wanted to make herself clear (so leaves)
Nate’s sure that Damien will change his mind and want to see his Mother. Audra doesn’t want to think about time running out – and neither should Amy (who continues to worry)
Hogan reads out more info – your Mother worked for Nate’s father when he was a PI. That must be the connection, Damien correctly guesses.
Sally reads her fortune cookie aloud – she will have great success in a new venture. Remember the game when you put ‘in bed’ at the end of a fortune cookie? she giggles. Billy predicts great things in bed too. Sally rolls her eyes when Phyllis drops by to ask if she’s interrupting?
Nate’s sure Damien will run a background check on his and learn that Amy worked with his father. We haven’t heard the last of your son.
Back at CL’s, Sharon appreciates the way Nick sees her – she has to find a way to earn Daniel’s trust. Nick think he’ll come around. They agree that Sharon needs to focus on her own recovery.
How did Phyllis know where Billy now lives? I’m resourceful, that’s why you’re desperate to have me work with you, she helps herself to his and Sally’s take out lunch. She and Daniel haven’t made their decision yet and will need Billy to make the ‘hard sell’.
When Billy suggests Phyllis schedule an appointment, Sally decides she’s taken up enough of Billy’s time. After walking Sally out, he lets Phyllis know she decorated the place. Yes, she decorated Daniel’s apartment too – but they didn’t share lunch. Boundaries, Billy reminds.
