Victor updates Nikki and Vikki that Sharon hasn’t been found yet – but if anyone can bring her home (and deal with Ian) it’s Nick.
Nick’s still shouting at the door when Chance returns with latex gloves and the key. Searching the empty room, he a glass with lipstick on it – Ian’s accomplice might be a woman, the clever detective detects.
Drinking the tea Claire had left on the bench for herself, Jordan reminds that she taught her niece how to poison someone. Claire needs her Aunt in her life. The Newmans never accepted her. She’s been playing the long con. Drinking the tea her Aunt had declined, Claire points out that she’ll inherit her Mom’s wealth should something happen to her.
Ian hasn’t checked out yet, Chance has learned from the motel manager – he sees no signs that Ian’s stayed here. Nick saw plenty when he was there. We’ll find out who his female accomplice is when Chance gets the fingerprints and DNA back (from the glass)
Nick thinks that Ian has an accomplice, Victor adds that Sharon’s kidnapper looked familiar. Could you tell if it’s a man or a woman? Nikki wonders. No, Why do you ask?
Claire thought her Mother was kind and gentle but when she looks at me, all she sees is you (Jordan) I had to turn my back on you and take their name. You can help me fix all this. Not caring if the motel or its guests sue him, Nick tells Chance that he’s going to search other rooms for Sharon.
Bidding the ladies a good night, Victor heads up to bed – but pauses on the staircase to look suspicious.
Returning to the motel, Jordan looks through the conveniently ajar door to see/hear Chance calling in for a search warrant. Off she goes…
