Adam will cancel his move – nothing is more important than Connor feeling safe. Connor thinks he needs to do this – he must face the things that scare him. Chelsea declares him incredibly brave. It’s decided that Connor will stay with his Dad at the ranch on their usual days. There is something that would make it easier for Connor – if Mom moved to the ranch too.

At Society, Chance acknowledges that this is their first meal together since they took a break – he’s ordered all Summer’s favourites and is wearing the shirt she bought for his birthday. What’s wrong? He can see that she’s distracted – are you already regretting having dinner with me?

Summer’s fine – and glad they’re doing this. Chance knows something’s bothering her. She doesn’t want to spoil their evening. How’s work? He doesn’t want to burden her. How’s Harrison? How about them Packers? How about instead of avoiding it, we each say what’s on our mind.

Are you two getting married!? Harrison’s excited. No – but sometimes, Claire might stay overnight. Like New Years? Harrison heard Claire laughing – it sounded like fun. Was it a sleepover? Yes, and Claire might sleep over again if that’s OK. Harrison’s happy about having breakfast with Claire before he goes to school. We love pancakes. Guess we’re all good here, Kyle’s happy to say.

Connor’s not trying to get his parents back together – you’d have your own room, he tells his Mom. If my OCD flared up you’d be able to help me. After Connor goes upstairs to see if Johnny’s online playing video games, Adam thinks that what he’s asking for makes a lot of sense.

Coming down for a drink, a bare chested Nate sees that he missed a call and has a text message from Damien. Looks like I made an impression.

Back upstairs with drinks, Nate has reason to celebrate – Damien’s coming to GC to see what Winters Inc. is all about. You won him over like you did me, Audra gives him a kiss. They’re soon interrupted when Nate’s phone starts pinging. At Audra’s insistence, he reads the message. He’s not smiling.

Adam’s not using their son’s anxiety to pressure Chelsea to move in with him – but Connor made a good point – the house is big enough for you to have your own space. He’ll respect Chelsea’s boundaries. If we respected boundaries, I’d still be with Billy and you with Sally, she quips. You’ve always loved the property, Adam coerces her. Plus, the apartment is too small for a growing boy – Connor asked for this. If living together at the ranch helps Connor heal, shouldn’t we at least consider it?

When Claire helps Harrison sound out a tough dinosaur name, he declares her a good teacher and smiles up at her and his Dad.

Sharon’s missing – it might be tough for us to talk about; something isn’t sitting right with Chance – he’s holding out hope that she’s alive. That’s what’s distracting him. Now, what’s distracting you? It’s petty, Summer’s annoyed by Claire pushing herself into Harrison and Kyle’s lives – I was practically kicked out – they’re probably telling Harrison that they’re a couple. That’s nothing new – why does it bother you? Chance thinks she seems jealous.

Summer’s not worried about Claire hurting Harrison but doesn’t like the way she’s positioned herself in her sons life. Before long, Kyle will ask her to move in with them. Yeah, that’s what happens when people divorce – they fall in love with someone else and make new families, Chance reassures Summer – that kid adores you – you won’t lose him to Claire or anyone else, he promises.

After tucking Harrison in and reading to him, Kyle and Claire are happy to have his blessing. Claire wishes Summer was OK with it. She’ll get past it, Kyle believes. It’s time we all move on.

Chelsea will think about it. Adam will respect whatever she decides. He’ll be moving in a couple of weeks. IF I agree with this, it’s for Connor – we’re not getting back together – understood? Understood.

Frowning, Nate tells Audra that the text was from his PI. Denise did some more digging and was able to confirm what Nate suspected – Dangler Properties and Monte Cristo Investments are owned by the same parent company. The silent owner? Damien.
