He broke out of prison to terrorized us – he even set fire to Newman Tower when we were having a benefit. You Mother, Johnny and Katie were there. Victor will do anything possible to get that man out of our lives – just like he did with Jordan, she reassures Claire.
Placing her very detailed tea order, Jordan will go wait on the patio for Ester.
Nikki changes the subject by complimenting Claire’s great business instincts – then sends her to CL’s for drinks and a break.
On the patio, Jordan looks ill as she scrolls through photos of Claire on her phone.
Again declining his Dad’s offer, Daniel’s determined to move on. I’m proud of you, Danny gushes.
Ian knows he’s done some terrible things but wants to make amends to those he’s wronged. ‘May God bless you both and keep you safe’, he leaves Abby to tell Tessa not to let him get under her skin.
Jack was indeed prepared to sue Kyle. You broke the law – you stole IP from Jabot, Diane adds. Now apologizing to his Mom, he’s working to get the product back where it belongs. Knowing Claire spent the night, Diane thinks they should tell Harrison what’s going on between them.

This could be a big deal to Harrison, Diane cautions. Jack agrees – it’s not unusual for kids to want their parents to get back together. You’re an excellent father – talk to Harrison sooner than later. Kyle sees no reason to wait.
When Ester goes to the patio to serve Jordan’s very specific order, Claire gasps and runs to the patio (missing her Aunt by a nanosecond)
Claire rejoins Ester at the counter. That woman…. never mind. She places her and Nikki’s order (but continues to look unsettled)
Kyle confirms that he and Harrison aren’t moving out. If that’s OK with you. Jack and Diane wouldn’t have it any other way.
If Ian comes back, call me, Abby tells Tessa on her way out. Does the new year seem to be getting off to a weird start? Daniel arrives to chat with Tessa – everyone I love leaves me, he chuckles. They then discuss her random asthma attack.
She saw me – might have recognized me, Jordan enters the motel room talking a mile a minute. Opening the bathroom door, she wonders where Ian is – furthering your own agenda, she presumes. When will you start working on MY side of the plan???
On the front step, Kyle calls Claire to say that he wants to tell Harrison about them – let’s meet at Society after work to discuss how to tell him.
What do we think about Claire? Diane asks. Jack likes her. Yes, she’s Victor’s granddaughter but so’s Summer. Diane likes Claire too but hopes they can overcome any challenges coming their way – she doesn’t want Victor to come after Kyle again.
Back at Chancellor, Claire tells Nikki that a woman ordered her tea in a very specific way – the exact same way Jordan takes her tea. It’s a bit freaky. Talking about Ian probably has her on edge. Jordan can never hurt us again, you’ll never have to face her, Nikki promises.
Jordan flashes back over her history with Claire – ending with the last time they spoke in the prison visiting room. Oh God Claire, how I’ve missed you, Jordan’s near tears. Losing trust in Ian, maybe it’s time she takes matters with Claire into my own hands.
