Cameron suggests Sharon start rationing her food and water. You can survive this. If not, I won’t be able to prove my innocence, she frets.

The position Nate’s offering is in the finance division; strategic planning, forecasting, internal audits. If you excel, the sky’s the limit. Damien agrees it sounds like a good fit but why would he leave LA for the cold mid-west? One word – money. Are you interested? Nate asks.

Maybe Ian should call in an anonymous tip that there’s a car in the river. Brilliant, Jordan says – then they can trace it to us. Ian wouldn’t use his phone. I’m not panicking (he’s just concerned about the news – or lack thereof) Jordan wants to focus on Claire. Sharon was our last loose end – she’s been taken care of. Jordan’s beginning to think her needs will never be attended to.

Nick and Chance are at the ranch to coordinate their efforts. Victor’s team and the cops have both come up with nothing. Chance wants to hear more about Ian Ward. Tired of talking, Nick marches out. Victor knows he’s gone to look for Sharon – hopefully, it’s not too late.

Damien finds this meeting a bit strange, surreal – he’s not sure what to make of it, or Nate and needs time to think it over. Nate has to get back to GC for a meeting. Send me the offer and I’ll get back to you soon, Damien says politely in parting.

Nick went to see Ian and Mike notes that Victor made no effort to stop him. He’s been known to lose his temper, he understates. And the police do indeed have a letter from Ian (more reason Nick better not do anything) Victor will let that phoney bastard know we’re on to him and won’t be pushed around. Mike hopes Nick’s not conveying that message with his fists right now.

When Nick shouts and pounds on the motel room door, Jordan hides in the bathroom. Bible in hand, Ian lets Nick in. He’s not leaving until he gets some answers – where’s Sharon!?

Cameron wonders who trapped Sharon down here – whoever killed Heather needed you to take the fall. They didn’t care who got killed. They knew you’d be arrested. They didn’t count on you framing Daniel. That’s the worst thing I’ve ever done, Sharon mopes. No, killing me is the worst thing you’ve ever done. Someone dragged you to the place you killed me – a place no one’s likely to find you, Cameron’s summary makes Sharon cry.

Audra and Amy return to the bistro loaded with shopping bags. How did Damien look? Amy asks Polished, poised, Nate relays him saying that that medicine runs in his family and that he’s a fan of the Count of Monte Cristo. Amy thanks Audra – such a good woman. Did Damien take the bait? Nate can’t be sure.

If these people wanted to get rid of me why did they leave me down here with food and water? Sharon needs to get the hell out of here! You’ve got skinny wrists – use some spit and muscle to wiggle out, Cameron misses this ‘back and forth’ with Sharon. Her, not so much.

Clutching his bible to his chest, Ian denies knowing anything about Sharon. Informed that she disappeared on New Year’s Eve, he has the best alibi – you (Nick)

Nate made a good pitch but Damien didn’t blink an eye – nothing ruffled him. He was methodical with his questions and answers. He’s not on to me but doesn’t seem interested in the job. He’s comfortable where he is and not looking for a change – but he said he’d think about it. Next time you see him maybe you should tell him the truth, Audra suggests.

Help – somebody – help me! Sharon shouts. You’re wasting your strength – stay calm – think, Cameron instructs. She worries what the family will think. Nick was the one who never gave up on her. He always believed in my innocence. Will he put the pieces together? she wonders. You better hope so, Cameron leaves her to curl up and sob.

Nick knows it’s no coincidence. Understanding that he’ll be blamed for every bad thing that happens in GC, Ian sincerely hopes nothing bad has happened to Sharon. I’ll pray for her. You better pray nothing bad’s happened to her. If it has, I’ll tear you apart, Nick warns. In the bathroom, Jordan looks frightened.
