Jill thought about this long and hard – she doesn’t trust you. Chelsea thinks Billy should look at things from Jill’s perspective – this could be a chance to learn something about yourself.
Chelsea’s not blaming Billy but Jill clearly does. Maybe you should repair the damage with your Mom instead of going after Chancellor. Billy wants to prove himself. My Mother ripped that company out from under me – there’s no coming back from that. He has no interest in repairing his relationship with his Mother and is disappointed that Chelsea doesn’t see his side.
Audra’s incredibly supportive of Amy – your heart’s in the right place. You kept your secret to protect Damien. Yes, Amy didn’t want her son to feel rejected and unloved. You did what you thought best – it’s what a good Mother does, Audra wishes she’d had such devoted parents. Damien will understand and forgive, Nate’s sure. Amy cries at the thought of leaving this earth with her son alone.
Devon doesn’t see how things can ‘go off the rails’ – we hire people we don’t know all the time. Lily hopes Nate’s brother is a wonderful guy who’s a great addition to Winters Inc. Abby worries that Nate’s expectations are high and he’ll forget to be cautious. Of course his expectations are high – how could they not be? Devon feels that they must support Nate – even if this whole thing comes crashing down.
Billy’s about to leave CL’s when Lily arrives to ask if he’s OK. She can see that he’s not. Billy claims that he’ll be back on top soon – want to join me? No. You don’t want to get payback on Nikki and Victor for stabbing you in the back?
Audra’s happy to keep Amy company while Nate meets with Damien. Shopping will be a good distraction. With another thank you, Amy leaves with her new BFF. Nate will call as soon as the meeting is over.
Abby and Devon chat at Society’s bar. She knows he’s worried about Nate. Devon will be there for him – this must be bringing up memories of Nate losing his father. It’s brought up memories for him too (as he found his family later in life) It was an emotional roller coaster. There’s nothing we can do to stop what might be coming.

Back at CL’s, Billy reminds Lily that Chancellor belongs to us – it’s what my Mother wanted before Victor manipulated her. We should be running it with full autonomy and embarrass our enemies. Yeah, Lily’s furious but is happy to be working with her family. But you’re not in control, Billy points out – but, if she’s happy, he’s happy for her. Do you really think you can beat Victor? Lily really hopes Billy comes out on top – she can’t help but will be rooting for him.
Abby knows it’s hard watching someone you love going through something that might end badly – you feel helpless. All we can do is wait and pray for the best. This could be the start of a good relationship between two brothers. or it can be over as quickly as it started. Devon thinks that would be the most painful outcome.
Nate shakes Damien’s hand and invites him to take a seat. Damien was intrigued by the message – not every day he gets a cold call and an exec. flying out to meet him. How did you find me? Are you suggesting you don’t have the qualifications to work for us? Nate asks. Damien’s confident in his skill-set but hardly a candidate to be poached by Winters Inc. Let’s cut to the chase – what is this meeting really about?
