Phyllis drops by Daniel’s apartment. Summer’s with Harrison and Lucy crashed. Phyllis blames Sharon for her missing Christmas Eve with her family. He doesn’t approve of her making Lucy’s ornament wish ‘dark’. Sharon’s recanted her story and claims someone else killed Heather. Still want me to let it slide?
Coming home to hear that Summer’s out lots of gifts under the tree Harrison, Diane would like Kyle to open these ones tonight.
Sharon never takes responsibility, Phyllis thinks she might say the third person is her. This is Mike’s stalling tactic, she tells Daniel.
Tessa sings Silent Night for her family.
Diane’s bought Kyle a co-CEO nameplate for his office. And here’s some pages from a journal her therapist in LA had her write. Through tears, she hopes it will show her son how much she missed him. Kyle didn’t get her anything meaningful like this. Everything is meaningful to his Mom (who’s delighted when he hugs her before going to meet Claire) That leaves Jack and Diane to share a weepy hug.
Phyllis has more to say about Sharon. Daniel thought this was almost over. It is, Phyllis can’t forgive Mike and Nick for caving to Sharon’s tears.
Their stockings hung, Sharon and family are now singing Fa La La La La.
Diane’s bought Jack a ‘stunning watch’ engraved – my every heartbeat is yours. Hers is a necklace Jack had from stones from the teardrop of love – a necklace his father gave his mother. Both now wearing their new gifts, they kiss.
Phyllis sees no problem with avenging Heather’s death – Sharon WILL pay.
After Sharon and family raise a mug, the kids race outside at the sight of snow. Nick and Sharon are left to wish one another Merry Christmas and hug in front of the Christmas tree.
