Jordan really shouldn’t (have another drink) but maybe it’ll make her feel more warmly about her partnership. She flashes back to Ian telling her that Victor’s not God – and real miracles can happen. Jordan’s still waiting for that miracle – tick tock.

Sharon asks if the other person broke in like she did or were they in there already. This is all conjecture, Mike will have the police and his guys look into it. Who was in there with us? Sharon’s alarmed when Nick suggests someone followed her there.

Telling Ian that she and her wonderful wife have a baby, Tessa proudly shows off a photo of Aria. You and Mariah are blessed, he smiles.

The tree now decorated, Lucy’s family distract/amuse/support her. Mom would have loved this. Daniel’s sure she does.

Sharon didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary at Daniel’s. The same person could have tampered with her meds, killed Heather and ran Phyllis off the road – but who and how do we find them?

Ian returns to ask Jordan why she looks so morose. She was just thinking of when he walked into her life – so full of surprises. We might disagree on the details but we have the same goals – and she’s grateful to Ian Ward for setting her free.

When Mariah comes back for the phone she forgot, Tessa tells her about the Minister who’s new in town – he’s chatty, friendly and upbeat with a twinkle in his eye.

It’s revealed that Ian paid a dying woman to take Jordan’s place in prison. She’s waited a lifetime for a man she can admire and trust.

Sharon remembers that the mystery hand was wearing a glove but doesn’t know if it was a man or woman. Mike will have Chance look into it. He better, Nick growls. Kissing Sharon on the top of the head, Mike leaves her to tell Nick that she’s afraid to get her hopes up.

Lucy postpones her Aunt and grandmother leaving by handing each a decoration – they all make a wish before placing their ornament on the tree. Phyllis goes last – Heather’s death won’t go unpunished.

Nick WILL find out who’s responsible for this. The facts are coming out – the truth changes everything, he and Sharon hug.

Tessa showed her new friend a photo of Aria. This Reverend sounds like a wise man, Mariah says.

Back in the motel, Ian didn’t expect this to happen at this stage in his life – it’s a wonderful bonus to our joint venture. Jordan does worry about the police and assorted busybodies. We won’t need a miracle this time – we’ll get everything we want, Ian promises her ¬kiss¬

Next Week: With her Dad and some gifts, Claire jokes that Victor and Nikki weren’t even under mistletoe to kiss… To overcoming challenges with courage and determination, in true Abbott fashion, Diane toasts before clinking Traci and Ashley’s glasses…. We will never, ever stop caring about you but there’s things about this case against Sharon that you don’t know, Lauren’s near tears. So, tell me, Phyllis demands of her and Mike … Sharon, Nick, Mariah, Tessa and Faith sing Fa-La-La-La – La La La La.

My Thoughts: Poor Sharon – how dare Heather ‘badger’ the woman who’s insulted her & broken into her home. And how dare she say that Sharon was out of her mind. PART of me believed her, Sharon says (as if she hasn’t been hallucinating and blacking out for months) She can’t have it both ways. She can’t be of sound mind for the purpose of having the police take her recollections seriously – yet be too mentally unfit for a judge and jury to hold her accountable for what she DID do (obstructing justice, break and enter with intent to kill, assaulting Heather and dumping her body into the river etc.) Sharon really puts the temporary in temporary insanity … If the tree’s too heavy for you Daniel, maybe wait until a grown up can help you with it. Or call one of your friends – oh, wait …. ‘The cops better find out who was there that night’? Or what Nick? And ‘Chance better look into it’? Or what Nick? … How Sharon’s not seen as a flight risk is beyond me – she’s rich and has been known to leave town when things go sideways. At the very least, she should be wearing an ankle monitor.
