At Society, Claire updates her parents that she’s officially accepting Nikki’s job offer – she really wants to tell Harrison herself – so he doesn’t think I’m abandoning him.

Summer stops by the house to convince Kyle that THEY should be the ones to tell Harrison (that Claire won’t be his nanny anymore)

That girl – how dare she!? Jordan fumes over ‘the cold cruelties of the world’. At least you got some fresh air, Ian quips. If you don’t want to go out, stop complaining about your stay-cation, Jordan snaps. Yes, there’s news – you’re not gonna like it.

At the house, Nick and Mariah fuss over Sharon. She refuses to run away and she must face this head on. Mike arrives with news – Chance got the toxicology report back – someone tampered with Sharon’s medication.

The news should come from Claire, Kyle lists all she’s done for their son. Nanny’s come and go – Harrison will understand, Summer’s sure. Kyle gets the feeling she’s relieved Harrison won’t be spending as much time with Harrison.

Claire tells her parents about a game she and Harrison play on the drive to school – pigeons or no pigeons. Knowing her parents have reservations about her new job, Claire asks – am I making a mistake?

Back in the grungy motel room, Jordan rants about seeing Mike; Victor’s lapdog who put her back in prison and got Claire out of the psych ward. Ian hates him too. She’s fallen for Kyle, Jordan imagines the luxurious life Claire will have. Oh, and it seems they had Sharon’s drugs tested – they know about the PCP.

PCP causes hallucinations, memory loss, paranoia, aggression, Mike explains. Sharon’s alarmed – I experienced all those things! How did PCP get on my pills!?

Mike’s not sure how the drugs were tampered with – but it will be good for Sharon’s defence. Mariah can’t believe someone would do that to her Mom – but who???

Dammit – they weren’t supposed to find out about the pills, Ian orders Jordan to go out there and fix this. You were sloppy! I shouldn’t have trusted you. I’ve never made a misstep my entire life, Jordan claims. Ian knows if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

Claire wants to follow in her Mom’s footsteps at Newman. Vikki hopes she’s thought this through – and understands what she’s walking away from.
