Jack and Diane now discuss how Victor will react when he finds out about their successful mission.
No sooner has Kyle reassured Claire that Summer’s too distracted to take notice if they’ve gotten closer – when she comes over to ask what’s going on between them (because it seems like they’ve gotten closer)
Yes, Claire and I have gotten closer – she brings me good luck, Kyle credits her with him reconciling with his parents (sort of) See you two around, Summer leaves Claire to wonder why Kyle said he’d forgiven his parents, then ‘walked it back’ (have you forgiven them?)
At the house, Jack gushes about Diane sacrificing the job she loved. He has an idea for her to consider…..
Faith arrives at the coffee shop to tell her parents about her run in with Lucy. Sharon’s so sorry – maybe you should go back to school.
Admitting that he hasn’t fully forgiven his parents, Kyle needs Claire to keep him grounded. Would you be embarrassed if I kissed you right now? Apparently not.
Jack suggests rolling Glacade into Jabot – something new and exciting; a re-imagined line of Jabot’s retro classics. But before any big announcements, they want to see Victor’s face when he finds out he’s been beaten.
Faith refuses to go back to school. She won’t abandon her Mom (who’s told Noah not to come home until her trial) Nick agrees – he’s proud of their ‘baby-girl’. He hints at something in the works that might help. See? There’s hope after all, Faith hugs her Mom. There’s ALWAYS hope, Nick’s optimistic.
My Thoughts: I can’t think of anything less ‘new and exciting’ than a ‘re-imagining’ or Jabot’s ‘retro, classics’ … How many times does Diane have to tell Jack that he needs to forgive Kyle? … So much for Claire’s ability to ‘read people’. Knowing how often people come back from the dead, knowing her Aunt is a master of disguises – she still didn’t realise she was talking to Jordan. And it’s hardly intuitive to guess that Kyle’s ex might have an issue with him dating her cousin who tried to kill her entire family … ‘Babygirl’ Faith may be ‘grown woman’ enough to quit the school her parents pay a fortune for but she might want to respect her Mom’s house. She shouldn’t demand that she be allowed to stay… Noah? Noah who? … I’ve always found it odd that when there’s breaking news, everyone’s phone goes off. But, despite there being so many windows – Society, CL’s, the Abbott’s huge front door etc., there’s never any reporters trying to get the scoop or snap photos.
