Chris knows all about the wrath of Phyllis – but she might be on the right track about Sharon (who acts like a guilty person and suffers from mental health issues) She was the last person to see Heather alive. Phyllis might actually have it right this time.
Why aren’t you looking at me? Nick asks Sharon. Get rid of this guy, Cameron barks. Hey – Nick snaps his fingers in her face. Are you OK? No, you’re starting to make me nervous, Sharon wonders if he believes her. No, Nick doesn’t think she killed Heather. Phyllis needs a scapegoat, Sharon fears she’ll manufacture evidence against her. Perfect, Cameron rates her performance.
Victor finds Jill waiting in his office. She doesn’t like being kept waiting.
At the house, Traci, Jack and Alan discuss how well Ashley’s doing. When Traci mentions Diane and Kyle, Jack talks over her and finally shuts her down. Traci’s worried – things are escalating.
After a brief chat about the wedding, Jill’s heard that Victor might try to steal her company. Victor’s surprised she thinks Billy’s capable of running it. Adam’s made plenty of blunders, Jill wants to cut to the chase – what do you want? Victor grins – now, that’s the Jill I know.
Back at the club, Chris goes over Sharon’s behaviour – maybe she just snapped. The evidence was likely planted. That would mean that Sharon planned Heather’s murder, Daniel’s sceptical.
Nick cautions Sharon not to get a restraining order against Phyllis – let me deal with her. Sharon hugs him – you have no idea how much that means to me. Cameron’s left to tell Sharon that Phyllis won’t go away – until you make her go away.
Sharon wasn’t just involved in Heather’s murder – she did it, Phyllis tells Lauren her theory – Sharon was attacking Daniel and his family – telling him to leave town – she’s acting erratically. That’s not proof, Lauren points out. Did you know she was the last person to see her alive? Phyllis persists.
No matter how disturbed Sharon is, to think she committed cold-blooded murder, Lauren’s not convinced. She’s capable of doing this, Phyllis reminds – She pushed me down stairs and left me to die! She’s 100% capable of murder.
Arriving at the club, Sharon spots Daniel and Chris and quickly scurries upstairs.
I’m handling it, Jill claims. Coddling Billy isn’t handling it, Victor asks if she’s willing to risk Katherine’s legacy because of her pride as a mother? No. Now we’re getting somewhere. If Billy’s not up to the job, Jill will reinstate Lily. See? No problem. Victor disagrees.
Jack doesn’t want to talk about Diane or Kyle. Alan’s politely told to butt out. You should hear your sister out on this, he manages to say. Allowed to ‘go ahead’, Traci overheard Kyle on the phone saying that Diane’s trying to undermine him at his new company. Jack’s not surprised. Yes, but this time she’s not in it alone. Who in this town would want to help her? Jack wonders. She’s enlisted Victor to help her, Traci informs. Unable to stop Jack from leaving, Traci’s left to tell Alan that went worse than she imagined. I just lit a stick of dynamite.
Why would it be a mistake to reinstate Lily? Jill thinks it’d be a seamless transition. Lily belongs at her family company. Neil and Katherine would want her to work with her brother and cousin. Let’s make a deal.
Lauren tells her best friend that she’s grasping at straws – let it go. Nick appears to agree – it’s got to stop – you’ve gone too far.
Borrowing a key/card from a housekeeping cart left conveniently in the hallway, Sharon lets herself into Phyllis’ suite – to do…. something.
