Amy married Jackson; Damien; was 16 when he died. Neither knew that Nathan was his biological father. Why are you telling me this now? Nate wonders.
Chris’ plan is to sew seeds of doubt in the jurors minds – it’s the best chance we have to save you. Daniel doesn’t like the thought of using Sharon this way. Neither does Chris, but knowing Daniel didn’t kill Heather, she needs ammo for the trial.
Daniel’s arrest is devastating, Sharon understands why Phyllis tried to pin it on her. She must have seen the walls closing in on Daniel.
Victor leans forward to grimace at Diane – why should I believe you? Diane’s out for more than revenge – this is about justice. It’s Jack and Kyle’s turn to hurt the way they hurt her. Victor will consider her plan – after she figures out a way to prove her loyalty. Surprise me.
Amy tells Nate that she’s dying of cancer; Damien will be alone. Her son’s been ‘rudderless’ and in and out of her life since his father died. Having lost track of him a few years ago, Amy begs Nate to find his brother. Why come to me instead of a professional? he asks.
Diane’s ready to go all in. She’s irritated. YOU (Victor) never had to choose between family and power. Kyle siding with you is insulting and unfair. Entering the office, Nikki’s stunned at the sight of Diane – what the hell are YOU doing here!?
Chris has summoned Phyllis to Society. Sure, we hate each other but she hates losing. What’s your theory on Sharon? Phyllis can’t believe someone’s finally listening to her – ‘and of all people, it’s you’.
Nikki rants and raves; Victor won’t help you extract revenge on Jack and Kyle, she assures Diane. We’ll have to make sure security doesn’t let her in again, she blathers on after Diane leaves. She didn’t just walk in – I summoned her, Victor announces. You what!? Nikki’s dumbfounded.
Chance and Chris come to arrest Sharon. NO!!! Stop it! she screams when Phyllis and Daniel arrive to pile on. Waking up on her sofa with a jolt, Sharon gasps for breath.
Back at the club’s bar, Jack thinks he and Kyle might actually come out better on the other side. They’re too busy chatting to notice that Diane’s arrived to stare daggers into their backs.
Well, look at this, Diane sneers – in less than 24 hours of kicking me out of the house and Jabot, you two are bonding over your mutual disgust of me. If running into us is awkward, you can go back to being Taylor Jenson in LA, both exit without so much as a backward glance.
Nikki can see that Victor’s up to his old tricks. She won’t put up with him going after Jack. No one dictates to me, Victor will handle things.
Amy hopes Nate can find Damien and be a mentor to his older brother; you can fill the void left by his father and me. You want me to track down a man I didn’t know existed til right now and tell him I’m his brother? Nate agrees to think about it. Amy will stay in town a few more days while he thinks it over.
Chris just needs to create reasonable doubt within the jury. Can we put aside our differences and work together for Daniel’s sake? What do you need me to do? Phyllis responds.
Sharon sits on the stairs – I can’t live this way, she cries to herself.
