It’s clear to Phyllis that Sharon killed Heather and is framing Daniel. She was attacking them in public – there was a problem with her meds and she’s always resented Daniel for Cassie’s death. That sounds ‘outrageous’ to Billy – he thinks Phyllis is the one who’s ‘spinning out’.
Diane wants to get ahead of the rumours and slander headed her way – this is all Jack’s fault. Nikki highly doubts that. Sure, Diane’s ambitious but she was fully committed to Jack. You’ve never learned to read the room, Victor sees no reason for Diane to stick around.
If Phyllis was ‘spinning out’, heads would be rolling. But, if that’s the case, she sees that as more reason that Billy should rehire her (and Daniel) even if it’s under the radar.
Daniel saw something while they were shopping; a friendship bracelet kit. He’s still wearing the one Lucy made for him and wants her to have a reminder of how much he loves her. Lucy chooses blue, red and purple to represent their ‘weird’ family.
Chance hasn’t been up against the illustrious Christine Blair before. She’s happy that he’s back on the force (Nina not so much) and wants justice for Heather. That said, Daniel’s innocent – you’re going after the wrong person.
