At Society, Kyle’s not a gracious winner. I won, you lost – game over. Audra looks too defeated to muster a comeback.
A nervous Faith sends her Mom a ‘where are you?’ text. Sharon can’t deal with that right now. She’s driving around wondering what to do; terrified she’ll lose everything; the kids, Nick. And where’s Cameron when I need him???
On the patio, Summer updates her parents that Heather fell or was pushed. Phyllis hates to think of Daniel and Lucy having to know that someone out there did this to her.
Continuing to melt down in her car, Sharon pulls out Heather’s phone… In his apartment, Daniel receives a puzzling text.
Audra follows Kyle to the bar – she won’t just hand Glacade over to him on a silver platter. Basically saying that he’s never had to fight for anything – Audra will be damned if she lets him take this away from her. I already have, Kyle boasts.
Back on the patio, Nick doesn’t think speculating about Heather’s death will help matters. Daniel and Lucy need time to process this and grieve. Phyllis will get started on a memorial.
I can’t believe she’s gone, Lucy cries to her Dad. Daniel’s supportive – she’s in our hearts forever. Lucy then asks about the message Daniel received. It came from your Mom’s phone. She’s alive! Lucy knew it!
Still in her car, Sharon looks down at Heather’s phone in her hand.
Someone found Heather’s phone and wants to return it, Daniel gently lets Lucy down. I saw her body; it’s no mistake. He needs to get that phone – there could be a clue on it; maybe something in her calendar. Lucy insists on going with her Dad – now.
Sharon reads Daniel’s reply and says yes, he can pick it up tonight.
Phyllis worries Daniel will go to that dark place again. No, he’s a different man, Summer agrees with her Dad – we have to let Daniel take the lead.
Sharon watches Daniel and Lucy drive off – ‘it’s time’.
Sharon lugs the heavy duffel bag up the stairs and lets herself into Daniel’s apartment to hide the bloody towel and phone in the liquor cabinet.
