Chelsea blasts Adam – yes, she still wants to be with Billy; he’s my lifeline, my hero. You were with him out of gratitude for saving your life, Adam claims. No, the love she shares with Billy is real – why don’t you focus on Sally? Because she knows how I feel about YOU.

Summer arrives at Daniel’s to hug him. Lucy’s in her room, likely crying (which he did after calling Paul) Chance arrives with news he wanted to deliver himself – everything they thought they knew about Heather’s death was wrong.

Chance informs that Heather was in the river since last night – she died of blunt-force trauma; not drowning; she was hit from behind. What’s Daniel supposed to do with this? What does he tell Lucy?

Adam’s sure Sally’s done with him – but good news, he’s now the man Chelsea always wanted him to be. If Billy loves Chelsea why isn’t he here? Chelsea angrily walks off.

Having a nice chat over drinks, Billy appreciates Sally’s support; so much so that he invites her to the launch party. She’d be delighted. Walking in, Phyllis throws her hands in the air at the sight of Sally.

Chance now gone, Daniel again worries what to tell Lucy. Summer suggests he wait until they have more details. Daniel doesn’t want to rest or pack a bag and go to the club. So much for his promise never to lose Heather again. Summer’s so sorry ¬hug¬

Cameron interrupts Sharon as she’s cleaning on the patio to disapprove of the way she reacted with Phyllis, Lucy and Daniel (who still hasn’t paid) It’s time to make the next move.

Phyllis asks Sally to excuse her and Billy – this is an important business problem. After Sally leaves, she quips – sorry to bust up your lonely-hearts club meeting. Unable to hold the tears back any longer, Phyllis asks Billy if he can be her friend (and why)

Meeting Chance in the park, Summer tells him that Daniel’s a wreck. He’s thinking of going back to the force – but will look for answers either way.

The final montage; Daniel grieves – Phyllis clings to Billy at Society – Sharon removes the blood soaked towel from the duffel bag in her car. It’s finally time to make Daniel pay for the life he took, Cameron says.

Next Week: Diane doesn’t think Jack’s ever been committed to the fact that she’s changed; that she’s no longer the manipulative bitch she used to be. Come on, Jack protests. I’m sick of it! Diane throws her dinner napkin on the table and stands up … Sharon hides the blood-soaked towel in Daniel’s liquor cabinet … Something surprising came up when we tried to trace Heather’s phone, Chance tells Daniel. What happens now? Lucy asks. Chance has one more person to question.
