Diane demands Jack find a replacement for Kyle. Otherwise Jabot’s a laughingstock. Not under my watch, Jack balks. OUR watch, Diane’s indignant when he suggests she cares about the company more than their son. When Jack excuses himself to take a call, Audra arrives – and Diane pounces – what’ll it take for you to get your claws out of my son??
Mom? Dad? Finding the house empty, Kyle jumps on Diane’s laptop. Bingo – he opens a folder labelled ‘New Projects’.
Heather’s been gone less than 24 hours, Summer and Phyllis think it too soon to jump to conclusions.
After the doctor’s visit, Nick brings Sharon to CL’s. Keep it together, Cameron warns her when she spots Daniel, Summer and Phyllis on the patio.
Nobody up for dealing with Sharon, Phyllis invites the kids to the club for breakfast. After Daniel leaves, the ladies go in to talk to Nick and Sharon (who apologises for snapping at Phyllis the other day)
Diane and Audra are arguing over which of them is greedy and self serving etc., when Jack races over to pull Diane away and apologise to Audra (who watches from the bar as they argue)
Kyle’s back in Victor’s office to prove that he’s the one to run Glacade.
At the club, Daniel gets a call from Paul. You heard from Heather? What did she say????
Kyle can offer Victor something invaluable – a top-secret, game-changing moisturiser Jabot has in the pipeline. Glacade can beat Jabot to the punch and pull the rug out from under them. He has one caveat – fire Audra.
Impressed that Sharon apologised to Phyllis, Nick offers to hang around and almost looks smitten as Sharon talks to Mariah on the phone.
Audra returns to Victor’s office boasting that she has intel that will thwart the competition.
When Phyllis arrives at the club, Daniel tells her that Heather text Paul the same message – she’s away for a few days to clear her head. You’re a handsome genius, Phyllis is sure Heather will be back. Everything will be OK. Daniel gets another call – it’s the police. What? Are you sure? He’ll be right there. They think they found Heather’s body, he updates his Mom.
How is this possible!? Phyllis is stunned. Daniel relays that a fisherman found a body in the river, the fingerprints match Heather’s. I have to go ID the body. Both assuming it’s a mistake, Daniel needs to go do this alone.
Even seeing the two of you can’t ruin my mood today, Kyle’s tells his parents (at Society) He’s also not bothered one bit to hear that Audra was just there.
Victor’s not impressed with Audra’s intel that there’s turmoil within Jabot. Kyle won’t betray his family for Glacade; he’s the weak link, not me. Kyle was just here, Victor thanks Ms Charles for her service – you’re fired.
In the morgue, Daniel looks down at a cadaver covered with a sheet…. Nick smiles hearing Sharon chatter happily on the phone with Mariah (about something Aria did) … When the morgue attendant pulls the sheet down, Daniel’s devastated to see that it is indeed Heather.
